A copy of the Able Danger chart that identified lead 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta as a terrorist operating inside the U.S. a year before the 9/11 attacks is clearly visible in a video of a 2002 speech by delivered by Rep. Curt Weldon to the Heritage Foundation.
The Pentagon, the 9/11 Commission and the Senate Intelligence Committee are currently seeking evidence that the bombshell chart, featuring a photo Atta, ever existed - as claimed by three members of the Able Danger team, along with Rep. Weldon. But so far, no physical evidence of the controversial document has surfaced.
Until now.
A third of the way through his May 23, 2002 address on data fusion techniques, the video shows Rep. Weldon unfurling a copy of the now missing document and displaying it to the Heritage audience.
"This is the unclassified chart that was done by the Special Forces Command briefing center one year before 9/11," he explains. "It is the complete architecture of al Qaeda and pan-Islamic extremism. It gives all the linkages. It gives all the capabilities. . . ."
Though Weldon never mentions Able Danger or Atta by name - and the video never zooms in on the chart to the point where Atta's photo is identifiable - it's clear from Weldon comments that the chart is the same one currently being sought.

i take your point. a lot of people truly believe that the clinton group allowed our attention to be focused elsewere. they do not look good on the terror front. so i see why reasonable people would think that by inaction , mismanagement and maybe some cya that the clinton folks should be held accountable. look the whole commission fiasco was a cya get bush move. i will never forget the treatment that condi received . utter contemp and disrespect from that group of blowhard hacks and now as we see worse. i do think that as the info comes out it will go way past any one person. i say lets do this thing and let the chips fall were they may. we should insist on nothing less. the spotlight is on the fed. they will not be allowed a cover up. this will transend politics for thr majority.

Weldon is a confident, well-spoken man, and I greatly look forward to seeing him on the cable rounds this month.

I find it curious that there's been no comment on this from Weldon or Hadley -- surely they will have to say more about it sometime, and Hadley will have to tell what happened with the chart.... but what happened with the chart AFTER 9/11 is of minute significance compared to what happened with it and all of ABLE DANGER before 9/11, and especially in 2000 (hear that, Clintonistas??) when it still could have made a difference.

Taped 6/14/05. He's talking about his book 'Countdown to Terror', and various intelligence issues. China, EMP bombs, Tehran, etc. I think he's talked about AD too.
He had a large chart behind him, I don't think it was the AD chart though.

Kinda like..."What if Berger specifically lifted and destroyed and/or altered Able Danger related data and the court ruled on what they THOUGHT or WERE TOLD that Berger lifted?? Can the Judge void the plea and make this go to a public trial? Was it a Public Trial?? We really don't know much except via the biased media. Judges do have privileges in some cases.
