Will y'all please go to the Getty link below, click the second photo from left to enlarge, and tell me if you think the guy to Sean Penn's right looks an awful lot like Douglas Brinkley, historian... (If that is Brinkley, he's also in the first photo, ducking).
There would be a certain logic to this. He's a guy who loves swift boat combat yarns and loser politicians.

Pleas man , he did it as a publicity stunt ,. Can't you see that ? Who the hell was he going to save in that little boat? He had a pro photo guy with him to record his heroic acts.
