Thanks for starting this. I just got home from work and almost started hyperventilating when I found out the Katrina Live threads were done.
"Consulting" is huge pork for liberals.....lib politicians keep hiring "friendly" consulting firms to come up with plans that don't work so more consulting is needed. Ineffective consulting costs taxpayers millions, even billions of bucks and nothing ever gets done. Therefore requiring more consulting by firms who contribute big bucks to the libs and keep them in office so they can award more consulting contracts.
It's a neverending Scam.
Here in leftie Seattle, we have state-of-the-art consulting scams for transportation systems that are never ever going to get built. I can hardly wait to see the scams that come out of Katrina--consulting, building, etc. Those criminally negligent NO and LA officials are going to get wealthy beyond their wildest imaginings.
Drama queen... I think EVERY Freeper should be watching this show, this is going to reverberate and no one will know the truth after this.
I just got off the phone with my son at Ft Campbell. His fiance is a 3rd Grade teacher. She spent her class time today discussing Katrina. What she thought would be an instructive talk with the students turned into a bad dream for her.
It seems the students had one thing on their mind(s). They wanted to know why President Bush hates black people. She was really shaken up. She couldn't believe they were serious..but after some more talk she learned the words of Kanye West had been imprinted on their young minds.
These are young children- worried their president hates black people. She tried hard to educate them about the facts in a calm way.
I had to post this as I am really speechless...
Well.. wait till they all watch Oprah today, they will KNOW he does.
Well, I WISH they would tell Oprah that and in Dallas the stories they were telling Jamie Fox were all negative, too.
And now it's implanted in their minds and nothing anybody can say will change their minds.
So sad.
Oprah said Hermes was racist when they wouldn't open their door to her..when in fact, she was just another late shopper.

They are trying their best to start an out and out race war and our kids are gonna be the ones hurt.
My granddaughters friends are almost equally black/white, and I hate to see 6 year olds taking on the HATE of these supposed grown-ups!

I recall one the other day from one of the threads showing a 106 year old woman in wheelchair being evacuated. She did NOT look that old.. but still the mental gymnamstics around that are remarkable.
