Mama Moonbat's rally was full of hate on Saturday. The ture pro-Troops rally on Sunday was full of love and appreciation. It was quite a contrast. Unfortunately, I am afraid to see how the MSM will spin it.

I particularly liked the part where Mr. Qualls told of how he got that cross (and wasn't there another instance?) from the She-man slime pit.

Thank you Gold Star Families. I watched, through my tears, all of you today. As I say when I e-mail our troops, "We love you, honor you and support you".

Unfortunately, I am afraid to see how the MSM will spin it.

There's a story on CNN's website right now:

Hundreds not thousands join pro-Iraq war rally
Smaller-than-expected gathering follows anti-war protest

Your pictures are truly inspiring. On the day of the Sheehan rally, which was counter-rallied by so many Freepers and like-minded, I was having my 40th birthday. I could have thought of no better way to spend it than to be there with you, but I feel now that plenty of you were there for me.
My heartfelt thanks to all of you who showed up, especially to those who have lost so much in a greatly-needed war effort so badly portrayed by our media. May God bless you all.

Maybe thousands of the good guys were just a bit busy taking care of the business after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita!

Were you there when the wacko started screaming 'why?' and was interrupting the Gold Star Families? Wwe all yelled at her to get lost and the cops came and made her leave.

No, I wasn't there for that either. One of the people there said at one point, there were like seven people who infiltrated the rally, and when the police and marshals intervened, one had to literally be dragged away. Towards the end however, in our side of the street, there was one guy who started shouting "We support our troops," and then added a moment later, "when they shoot their officers." I gave a slight push on his back to leave, and a Park Police officer escorted him away.
