Considering that Shaheen Ahchmed Cindy had the media publicizing her rally, it's no wonder she had bigger numbers. How many people knew there would be a pro-freedom rally?

I read 15,000 for the haters. Which seems more like a possibility.

But .. they were expecting 100,000 - and only got 15,000 - I'd say their "movement" isn't going anywhere.

I'd say their "movement" isn't going anywhere.

The MSM would like to spin this whole "cindy" thing into the biggest movement since the '60's.  Sorry guys, we are far more informed now and aren't going to be fooled by guys like Kronkite this time.

You are so correct!

It's just the media who haven't figured it out .. they still think they can sway the public any way they want. Not gonna happen.

Hundreds not thousands join pro-Iraq war rally...still better than NBC channel 10 in Philadelphia which reported that one hundred showed up at the rally today, while one hundred thousand showed up yesterday - they lie shamelessly, but ingeniously......

So you got the great unwashed group! What a pitiful bunch of blobs of protoplasm!

Mr. Qualls, who spoke, and who is mentioned earlier here, set up a wonderful remembrance of his son on the main street of Crawford, just in front of the big Liberty Bell replica that is/was there when we held our rally there on Aug 27th.

It put the ditch witch and her cohorts to shame.

Seriously demented folk need to be locked up--not praised and adored by the MSM--but that's just my opinion.

Thanks so much to all who attended the rally today. I felt so fortunate to be there and to speak on behalf of my son. The strength of our rally was the content of the comments and the wonderful group who organized the speakers. I was blessed to find a publisher for our "Letters for Logan" book in my son Derek's honor.

God Bless America!

Sure makes ya just want to cry.

Yes, but notice they are together, comforting one another.

Big contrast with the Sheehan family...

Prayers up for all who have lost loved ones in this war. May the sacrifices of our troops and their familes never be in vain.

Thanks to all who have served.

AWESOME. I'm sorry I missed it. But, I did drink from the mug and wore the T-shirt I ordered while you were all doing your part!

I don't know if any of these people are FReepers, but I wanted to say this to Charlotte & Doug Smette, Kathy Mongold, and Army SPC Kevin Pannell

I am forever grateful for your sacifice. The free people of Iraq will one day be able to tell you the same thing.

I watched parts of this rally as well as a little of the pro-Jihadists Sheehan rally. The differences could not have been starker. Sheehan’s people yelling two or three word catch phrases, America supporters speaking in well thought out phrases. Jihadists’ constant anti-America rants, America supporters supporting the USA, President Bush and the US Military.

I came with a ex military friend and my 85 year old mom, who after getting rubbed wrong at after mass on Sunday by the local libs, called to let me know she was definitely coming along to add her voice to the support of our troops. She had to sit a few times but jumped up to cheer G.Gordon Liddy's words of support for the troops. Maybe there were only couple of hundred of us on the Washington Mall but the from speeches, the show of strength, and commitment to our troops, we cheered and yelled for all of those thousands who were back home or in harms way. It is hard to get those who view the status quo as good to come and protest. I would like to say those of you who spoke from your heads and hearts regarding your loss of a loved one, the pride you reflected in your words, and the love you beamed out to us in the crowd, few as it may have been, you made the event worth while.
