DES MOINES, Iowa -- The fiancé of Noel Miller, the mother of a 5-year-old girl who was found in the Cedar River, was charged with one count of possession of child pornography.
Evelyn Miller went missing July 1. Her body was found six days later.
On or about about July, Casey Frederiksen possessed computer images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to court documents.
Frederiksen was arrested by the U.S. Postal Inspection service Thursday night, according to a news release. He is set to appear in federal court Friday afternoon.

There's is little else to say about these monsters, predators of children. Keep your babies close, they say. Even when we try to do that, they are vulnerable.

BREAKING NEWS: Man Close to Miller Case Charged with Child Porn

(Cedar Rapids – KCRG) -- A person close to the Evelyn Miller murder case has been charged with possessing child pornography. Casey Frederiksen is engaged to Noel Miller. Miller’s daughter, Evelyn, disappeared in early July. Her body was found dead six days later.
A grand jury convened in Federal Court in Cedar Rapids yesterday. Officers arrested Frederiksen last night and charged him with having sexually explicit images of minors. Prosecutors say the images were found on a computer. TV9 has reported a computer was taken from the couple’s apartment.
The crime carries a possible sentence of up to ten years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
Officers have not made any arrests in their investigation into the death of Evelyn Miller. Floyd County Attorney Marilyn Dettmer is handling that case. She issued a statement today saying, "even though the cases are separate, it is obvious the facts of each have an impact on the other. The murder investigation continues to function as a high priority matter by all agencies involved."

This makes me want to vomit on so many levels. What happened to that poor little girl?
Was she abused before she was murdered?
And then that that disgusting white trash mother who stands by him, knowing all of this and condoning it?.....would allow her little girl to be in a house with someone into child porn.
And then, if she (the mother is innocent?) WHY would she not doubt his story, knowing what he's capable of and what his perversion is?
There is probably many more disgusting things we will learn about these horrible lowlifes in that murdered child's life.
I wonder if the so-called mother is still defending her shack-up? If he did do it, the mother should also go to jail for life, she carries alot of blame. What a loser!

Anyone surprised? Porn is destructive, and child porn even more destructive. In case anyone doesn't know this, the SCOTUS in its infinite wisdom /sarc off ruled some time ago that "virtual" child porn is legal. So it computer generated child porn is perfectly fine. As if sickos who are sexually aroused by children need any help. And by repeated exposure people get accustomed to sensual input. If anyone doubts this, just tell me why ads work and why people with more face time get elected. What you see, hear, read about and so on affect your mind. No doubt about it. Scientific fact.
That's why child porn including so-called "virtual" should be eliminated and the producers of such should be executed, distributers and users should be SEVERELY punished.

Casey Frederiksen CEDAR RAPIDS — The live-in boyfriend of Noel Miller, mother of the slain Floyd girl, Evelyn Miller, has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography, according to the United State’s Attorney’s Office.
Casey Frederiksen was arrested by the United States Postal Inspection Service Thursday night. His first appearance is at 1 p.m. today in federal district court.
The charge was contained in an indictment filed Thursday in U. S. District Court in Cedar Rapids and unsealed today.
The indictment alleges that in July Frederiksen possessed images, produced on a computer, of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
If convicted, Frederiksen faces a possible maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, a $100 special assessment and up to life on supervised released following any imprisonment.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Sean R. Berry and was investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service.
Evelyn Miller was reported missing on July 1 from the apartment in Floyd where she lived with her mother, Frederiksen and two young brothers.
Her body was found six days later in the Cedar River, about two miles from her home. Her death has been ruled a homicide, but details about how and when she was killed have not been released. No arrests have been made.
Don't forget there are 2 little boys in that house,too.

I agree, though I'm still shocked that "the grieving mother" would defend him on any level.
Could she have been involved in the "coverup" or even worse?
So many of the children killed by their mothers boyfriends. Should be a lesson in there somewhere.
I get the impression that "not too bright" is about as generous a description as there is for Noel. Nothing she's done at any point makes sense to me.

The two younger children -- which, unlike Evelyn, were fathered by Casey -- were removed from that household and have been in foster care since sometime around the time of the murder. Noel and Casey have reportedly been fighting to get them back.
No, but it's a bit surprising that the pro-porn crowd hasn't shown up yet. I guess they draw the line at child porn. You have to have some standards, I guess.
I just read this article which had information about the kind of life Evelyn was exposed to. She apparently knew what drug paraphenalia looked like and she witnessed many fist fights between her "loving parents".
I hadn't thought of that. Of course, we all know that viewing porn has nothing to do with immoral or illegal sexual behavior. If what a person watches had any impact on his actions, I'd be out planting soybeans right now, because the baby and I just watched "There Goes a Tractor!" again.
