Anti-Bush protest today in Times Square
11/2/05 | Personal Responsibility

I just received an email at work that says

The New York City World Can't Wait Committee (an anti-President Bush group) will stage a protest march on November 2, 2005 starting from Union Square at 2:30 pm. They should arrive in Times Square via Broadway between West 40th St and West 42nd St at approximately 3:30 pm. They are to remain there until about 5:30 pm.

Event organizers say they expect up to 5,000 people but also have said that number could be well overestimated.

"“I'm underage so I can't vote, and this is how I see fit to get my voice out there my opinion out there,” said student Talia Bosko."

Wow, pretty powerful argument. I think you convinced me Talia. I don't support the BFEE anymore. ;-)

World Can't Wait is the Revoluntionary Communist Party.

Do a look up on the WCW website registration and it's the RCP's C. Clark Kissinger.

Here are pics of the action at Union Square today. We counter protesters didn't bother to follow them to Times Square, as we went back to work, school, etc.
Enjoy the pictures:

I wonder if their Mommies drew up those pretty little signs for them?

The Times Square protest was much ado about nothing. I got out of work around 5 and went over to where the ESPNZone is on 42nd and Broadway. There were maybe, MAYBE, 75 people there. Of course, the NY Slimes will report it as "many" or "dozens" of protestors but then, that's the Slimes.

The people walking by while being harrassed by the moonbats generally ignored them. A couple of cabbies honked their horns at the protestors. Or it could have been that they honked at the pretty ladies crossing the street. You never can tell with NY cabbies.

Some drivers shouted incoherently from their cars. My guess is they were late for the rally or could not find anywhere to park.

All in all this was, to no one's surprise, a complete bust for the moonbats.

I guess the 5,000 didn't vote for Bloomberg (R) who won as Mayor of NY again! ;)
