I could be wrong but I suspect in these gang-rape cases, the French girls were probably running with a Muslim crowd (you know the type) and there might have been a sense of "What did she expect would happen?"
I could be dead wrong. I don't know the details.
At any rate, I still hope the French pull themselves together. I'd rather see Paris ruled by Frenchmen (for all their shortcomings) than ruled by Arabs.
You are absolutely wrong... non muslim French Women have taken to wearing head scarves just to keep from being targeted in these neighborhoods.
The fact this is still going on 8 days later shows me the French just don't get it.
You throw fire bombs at police, you are shot.... not still doing it 8 days later.
France if it had a clue would have dealt with the immigration issue long ago.. instead it refused to face reality and sacrificed its nation at the alter of "tolerance"... now they are going to getting their come uppance.
It kinda reminds me of the Peace March in Cincinnati which turned into a riot Where many were injured and, I believe, one was killed.

I understand that Muslims tend to build their own communities the same as other groups. If they want to burn down their own communities who is going to stop them?
Think Watts. What did we do? We backed out, sent in unarmed troops and allowed the riots to continue. The Korean business owners were the ones the rioters knew would shoot them.
I would expect that we will do the same next time around.

I was just curious if they were being questioned for murder or if they were simply pulled over for a broken taillight.
As far as I can tell they weren't being questioned for anything. They supposedly were running and hiding from police that supposedly weren't chasing them.
Certainly nothing worthy of these riots.
I've never said or implied that anything was worthy of the riots. I just wanted to know what caused the teens to run, if anything.
I would say that your assessment is correct.
Imagine how they would have treated the French if they had actually supported the United States?
And these frenchy traitors are complaining now why??? Just wait, next it will be, "The US must intervene..."
