Oh, I wish Reggie Bush would have won MVP, after that speech.

No, it will be referred to as Vince's Victory. He will likely come out to the NFL now--that was an amazing performance. I wanted USC to win, and they put in a great game, but Texas outclassed them. I'm crestfallen but have great respect for the team. It's the fans I'll have to listen to non-stop now that I dread!

Yeah, he is like Randall...doesn't look like he's covering that much ground, but deceptively fast. Defenses seem to be slow to react to his scrambling.

Notre Dame is in the top 10 still despite a mediocre-decent season.

Glad Texas won; it's just too bad they did it with blown calls. Won't be a clean win; it will always be referred to as the Ref's victory.

Oh please, no whining...

LA mayor Antonio Villaragosa has yet again found a way to get his mug in front of a camera.

He's being interviewed on KCal 9 in the Rose Bowl parking lot.

Thanks for posting the screen shot. I was watching that on TV and was thinking what a great shot that was.

Good job Horns from your fellow Big 12 members, the Iowa State Cyclones. We're coming to get you this fall! (I can dream.)

The top 5 (this is really early) for next year: 1) Texas

Texas won't be ranked #1 in the preseason polls unless Vince Young comes back. Ohio State will probably be preseason #1 otherwise following closely by LSU, Penn State and Notre Dame.

I know. But it's what the AP/ESPN keep touting.

Ya gotta be kidding. Add another minute to the clock and USC would have won. They clearly should be ranked #2, no other team is close. And yes, USC won a mythical nat'l championship 2 years in a row.

You mean like the blown call that allowed USC to stay unbeaten when Reggie Bush pushed Lienart into the endzone at Notre Dame?

The better team won, no doubt about it. Texas didn't even need that blown chipshot field goal. Vince Young was on fire and absolutely not to be denied.

Nah PSU is losing to much to be in the top 5. They will be breaking in a new QB.....

Those rankings are if VY ocmes back. Every indication right now is that he is going to come back.
