I never had much use for Joe Biden, and enjoyed as much as the next Freeper the ribbing he's taken over his record-breaking bloviation at the Alito hearings.
But while never high, my regard for him has just sunk much, much lower.
Wolf Blitzer just interviewed Biden in the context of the poignant scene of Mrs. Alito crying during the today's hearings when Sen. Graham recounted some of the unfair intimations of bigotry that the Dems leveled at Alito.
To Wolf's credit, he played more than once the footage of Mrs. Alito's distress. I would note that at least twice in the last week or so Rush Limbaugh has mentioned his respect for Blitzer.
In any case, Biden was clearly on the spot, and began with some vague generalities about the need to find a better way to determine a nominee's views than the current confirmation process.
But within seconds, Biden went on the attack, essentially blaming Alito for his wife's tears. He effectively accused Alito of lying about his knowledge of the activities of CAP, the Princeton alumni group of which he was a nominal member. In this way, he justified the harsh line of questioning by Kennedy and others that ultimately left Mrs. Alito in tears.
Well, what's sauce for the goose, etc. After all, we all remember the nasty, partisan attacks to which Senate Republicans subjected Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer.
Oh, wait. There were no such attacks. The Republicans were perfect gentlemen. Confirmation blood sport is strictly a Dem game. Despicable.
My kids' game. She started it when she hit me back.
Actually, it's about one third of the voters choose democrats, the rest is pure fraud perpetrated in the big blue cities all across America.

It's ironic that the ones screaming the loudest about the so-called "torture" of terrorists are the same ones who are subjecting Judge Alito and his family to unmerciful psychological attacks. The Dem senators are disgusting, and it wouldn't surprise me if this turned out to be another "Wellstone Memorial." It amazes me that these cretins have no clue how they are perceived by average people. After the Wellstone Memorial, the donations began pouring into Norm Coleman's website from all over the country and the Republicans gained more seats in congress. I can easily see that same scenario playing out again because most people outside of Washington D,C., including many Democrats, are appalled by this disgraceful spectacle. It's as if Kennedy, Biden, etc. are performing a partial birth abortion on the constitution in plain view of the public and they don't understand why everyone is throwing up.
Nice letter. It would be good to know if you get a response.

Lindsey Graham Made Mrs. Alito Cry

CNN Headline News guy is reporting that she broke up crying when Graham asked if he was a bigot...end of story. I've listened 3 times now. They are blaming it entirely on Graham's questioning.

Pretty much says it all. Plagiarist, hair plug wearing creep needs to be added also.
does anyone remember when Clarence Thomas let them have it with both barrels and accused them of a 'high tech lynching'? it was great to see.
Like I said yesterday, the baseball cap was all an act of mocking Alito.
