Can't think of any that particularly impressed me, with the exception of a few quasi-conservatives. Who really knows how to shake up the rats?
Anyone who ever watched Firing Line will agree. No one shut them up and shut them down like Buckley.
His use of a language is called "English."
I fart in your general direction
Boy. I have heard Ann Coulter called a lot of things, but "shallow-head ditz" isn't one that I have heard before.
Would you care to step into a ring and have a debate with her? If the answer is no, and she is a "shallow-head ditz", what would that make you?
Just curious.
Have you read her books? Have you seen her debate libs?
Then again, maybe you might prefer Ray Nagin, Al Sharpton, or Ted Kennedy.
That graphic made me nearly spew my Pepsi on my keyboard! (particularly with the context...:)
No one said "all blondes are dumb". This is what I said:
"....she just comes across as a "stereotypical 'blonde-joke-type'..."
Just a point of clarification there. We as Conservatives must not take the same mind-set as the libs and Dems i.e. defend our "heros" and "heroines" no matter what, just because we agree with their political philosophy. I agree with Pat Robertson by-and-large but he has been an embarrassement numerous times of late.
Yup...I would agree. Horowitz KNOWS what makes them tick...:)
"Big" Dick Cheney!
I agree. Rush cannot seem to field question extemporaneously on tv interviews, as he does on his radio show.
Rush has a hugh research staff and they also prepare his talking points. I love El Rushbo, and have been listeneing to hime for 13 years. BUT, Rush would not be my #1 choice in a debate with the libs.
"...They all know that he has a mind like a steel trap. Ergo, no one ever challenges his logic..."
That is well put. Notice how the Libs try to talk over everyone else, but they kind of back away when he speaks...
Soooo, are you going to dig him up?
Ahhhhhhm, I know, deah Cobrahhhhhh. I do hope I didn't offend you. 'tis English that Buckley speaks and he does it quite well. His thinking is profound. What I meant was he comes across as rahthah snobbish because of the difference between his intellect and that of the average politician, coupled with his slightly Shakespearian manner of speaking. One of my aunts spoke with that same East Coast uppercrust, somewhat nasal drawls and many times it would almost sound as if she were speaking a different language.
But then...I'm from the Midwest and some people would probably find MY accent annoying. :o)
"Alan Dershowitz is one of the best and smartest debaters in America. He typically disposes of his opponents with ease."
Alan Keyes demolished him.
It was a thing of beauty:

I have the perfect answer. Sean Vannity, "I, me, my mine."
Ann Coulter may offend true BushBots and RepubloBots, but her mind is as sharp as anyone's on the right ... and she's very funny, too. She's a lot of things to a lot of us on both sides, but she is ANYTHING but a "ditz".
(mwth scoffs)
Ann looks hot in that picture. But I think it's partly because the uni gives her about 15 pounds that she badly needs.
