Code Pink Retreats from Walter Reed-Freepers Win! (Week 40 Report at #1352)

I just received a phone call from Kristinn!!

The DC Chapter of Protest Warriors obtained a permit for Code Pink’s side of the street today after the Pinko’s forgot to renew their permit. The blood dancers tried to stick it out for about 20-25 minutes before they tucked tail and retreated a block away to the closed entrance. Freepers and Protest Warriors now have all four corners outside the main entrance to WRAMC!

Yeah well, what's missing from this picture is the extremem effort I am exerting to keep from getting blown off the street by that 40 MPH wind we had.

It was WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDYYYYYYYYYYYYY...

Yes. These flags were erected on the newly-claimed Protest Warrior corner. We saw them as we drove up. What a sight!

The memories of what
hanoi kerry, hanoi jane,
Abbie Hoffman,
Jerry Rubin,
David Dellinger,
Rennie Davis,
Tom Hayden,
John Froines,
Lee Weiner,
Bobby Seale, etc continue to haunt me.

You see when I got out of the Navy in 1969
I returned to Chicago

The Chicago 7 Trial was across the street from where I worked.

Hera ya go

Do you have feelings of inadequacy?

Do you suffer from shyness?

Do you sometimes wish you were more assertive?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist about Tequila.

Tequila is the safe, natural way to feel better and more confident about yourself and your actions.
Tequila can help ease you out of your shyness and let you tell the world that you're ready and willing to do just about anything.

You will notice the benefits of Tequila almost immediately, and with a regimen of regular doses you can overcome any obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want to live.

Shyness and awkwardness will be a thing of the past, (well shyness anyway) and you will discover many talents you never knew you had.
Stop hiding and start living, with Tequila.

Tequila may not be right for everyone. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use Tequila.
However, women who wouldn't mind nursing or becoming pregnant are encouraged to try it.

Side effects may include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incarceration, erotic lustfulness, loss of motor control, loss of clothing,
loss of money, loss of virginity, delusions of grandeur, table dancing, headache, dehydration, dry mouth, and a desire to sing Karaoke and play all-night rounds of Strip Poker, Truth Or Dare, and Naked Twister.

Tequila. Leave Shyness Behind.

I'm working on that.

We may have won this skirmish, but these are die-hard commies we're dealing with, and they won't give up this easily. We have four corners permitted, between the DC Chapter of Free Republic and the DC Chapter of Protest Warrior... we're going to need a whole lot 'a warriors out on the street with us this Friday night to hold our ground; so I hope that all the people in this area who have been considering joining us will do so in four days.

And for those who say, "I'll get around to it one day," this is for you:

As they drove up, I was standing on the wrong corner.
BMW and AB looked at me kinda strange, then smiled.
Then I hollered "These people have no idea who they are dealing with."
