Earlier this evening, our pastor and his wife were involved in a terrible auto accident near Rockford, Illinois. Carlton is 67, and Lily is 65. Neither have been in good health for quite some time, and Lily suffered a major stroke several months ago which has left her unable to feed or care for herself.
Both Carlton and Lily have suffered multiple fractures of the ribs and hips as a result of this accident. Carlton's blood pressure is dangerously low, and he is really not aware of his surroundings. As Lily cannot talk, no one is quite sure just yet of her level of awareness.
Compounding this problem is their financial state. The church has never seen fit to pay Carlton very much for his dedication and devotion, nor have they provided any sort of medical insurance for Carlton and Lily. My Dad has had to fight tooth-and-nail just to get minimal raises for Carlton over the years.
Their daughters, Carlene and Joanna, have been doing their best to care for their parents, but neither of them are in good health either...Joanna had a heart attack a few years ago.
Would you please pray for miraculous healing for these two very precious souls? Joanna needs prayer support also, as she was driving at the time they were broadsided, and feels very guilty.
Thank you all so very much!
All is according to the will of God.
There is much to prayerfully consider in these recent events, as to how God expresses His infinite grace, mercy and justice.
Now you tell the Pastor for me, to get back to saving souls for the Lord. The Lord is not finished with him yet, and there is still much work to be done to the glory of our Heavenly Father.
Now get back to the fight, Christian soldier.
Blessings, S4T.
