control of 6 United States ports. Critics in both parties say this deal leaves America less safe. What's

your opinion?

I trust whatever the President thinks is best for the country.16%

I generally support the President, but I have concerns about how this deal could compromise our

security.43%

I generally don't support the President, and have concerns about how this deal could compromise our

security.35%

I do not think security at the 6 ports will be compromised, because the U.S. Coast Guard will still be

handling security matters there.7%

Usually you only get a yes or no choice in these things, so this is better. "Hell, no" wasn't one of the choices unfortuneately.

Where is the "I oppose whatever the President supports."???

It is the inversion of the first response. All others are critical of the decision to approve this transfer. Let's out the Bush Haters if they are going to call those who support the president on this "mind numbed robots".

I oppose UAE ownership. I also oppose British ownership (which is already the case). Where's my survey box?

"I trust whatever the President thinks is best for the country."

___________

In other words, "I'm a mindless idiot if I support Bush's position."

Give me a break.

After all the chaos, I'm supporting W on this one. Don't support him on spending. Don't support him on illegal immigration policies. Don't think he is a god.

But he's a pretty good President.

I voted for #2. Maybe I just don't understand it. I don't see why we can't wait to discuss the issue.

Because we have less than 10 days from what I understand. If Bush looks the least bit weak on his stance we will never get this deal to go through . There are just too many people that thinks this deal is a scam.

Why can't they just trust him ???? He has been spot on since day 1.

I find it hard to beleive after everything Mr. President has done for us that people would even question him.

I liked Meirs and I think he is doing what he can for borders and immigration.

The dems arent completely dead, they still pander to the less educated or the less aware voters.

That is simply not true. They will be leasing facilities at the ports, just like China and every other nation that imports here.

Yeah, I see the confusion. I just do not trust the muslims that will be working the port. The UAE gov. may be alright.
