It gives them a place to start.
Arabic speakers/readers are at a BIG premium. The docs you are translating are likely not getting much attention due to the sheer volume of materials and available resources (translators).
Contact them and tell them what you are doing - they will likely jump at the opportunity.

Exactly right. The burden was on Mr. Hussein, not President Bush as the media and Dems want us to believe.

I agree, Road Dog. I would imagine that more than a few FReepers might have some suggestions as to where within the Intel community JV could start. Pinging a few and asking them to spread the word and/or give some suggestions.

"A quick search on the Web shows Iraq delivered chemical weapons with its 130mm and 155mm artillery shells."
But of course the left wing maggots of the media and the DNC have told us that Saddamn had no WMDs to put into these shells.

http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/library/report/2004/isg-final-report/isg-final-report_vol1_rsi-06.htmThe 2nd RG Corps had chemical defense battalions, according to the former Al Quds Forces Chief-of-Staff, but these battalions left their equipment in their barracks during Operation Iraqi Freedom because the corps commander was confident the Coalition would not use CBW against Iraq. They probably would have retained this equipment had the commanders envisioned using CBW munitions in the 2nd RG Corps.
The RG did not use its special ammunition distribution system before either the Gulf war or Operation Iraqi Freedom, according to a former senior Iraqi artillery officer. This systemspecialized chemical battalions; replacement of company drivers with chemical battalion drivers and ammunition handlers; and use of special MIC depotshad served it well during the Iran-Iraq war. The source commented that all systems broke down and there was no chemical ammunition distribution system during OIF. Even if units had received chemical ammunition, they would have buried it, not fired it.

Interesting reading, eh?

It should be noted that the US uses the term "special" to refer to nuclear weapons.

The remaining pages of this 9 pages top secret memo talk about getting the special vehicles to transfer....."
SPECIAL VEHICLES? Any possibility that this is a reference to those trucks that were thought to be chem labs?
