btw, Stony........if you have time, please point to the Scripture that says that we will know who are Christians by their politics.....

I know that we are to identify our brothers and sisters in Christ by their love, and by the Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace........), but I've never seen the Scripture that backs up your way of identifying who names the Name of Christ, and who does not.........by whether or not their politics align perfectly with ours.

There are millions of Christians who have seen President Bush's life and sense that he is a brother, have heard his testimony, and know he's not lying about it. Perhaps it helps that we pray for him, and don't require that he swear allegiance to a particular narrow politcal ideology as you do.

Your assumptions about what I feel-what dissapoints me-what
I believe are without merit. Youcharge me with the very
sins- you practice. In the secular feild of Psychology it would be called transferance. In Christianity it is just
plain bad judgement.IMO No-man in position of public office
whose public policy is clearly at varience with what Scripture teaches ought be calling himself a Christian.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.(is one example) Any kingdom divided against itself is brought to
desolation, and every city or house divided against itself
shall not stand."(another-that taught by Jesus when accused of doing His Fathers work by the power of the devil)
I stand by what I know to be true.

Once again, you are assuming that your own political views are in complete accordance with Scripture.

From the beginning I have said it.........Scripture FIRST, politics behind it.

You may think whatever you want of the President's faith based on your political point of view, but you do not have the right to judge his Christianity based on those views.

When we both get to Heaven, we will know, won't we? Until then, I would urge you to be very careful of being dogmatic about things that you cannot possibly know.
