The game has not changed, we face the same enemy, same challenges. The Beast never dies!

Edited on 05/11/2006 1:43:29 AM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

The game has not changed, we face the same enemy, same challenges. The Beast never dies!

President Reagan faced down the Soviets and ended the cold war, but the Beast is still with us. It simply changes form. Whether it appears in the form of Bolshevism, Nazism, fascism, communism, Islamofascism, etc, it is the same enemy: Totalitarianism. The all powerful state.

Today we are fighting Islamic terrorism. It's just another example of the Beast rearing its ugly head in its never-ending quest to destroy freedom. The Beast cannot co-exist with free people nor we with it.

We also see the Beast trying to make inroads into America through radical feminism, homosexualism, abortionism, radical environmentalism, creeping socialism, illegal immigration, etc.

The goal is to demoralize and erode away our will and ability to fight by destroying the traditional family unit, destroying our moral society, denying us our freedom of religion, freedom of speech, right to peaceable assembly, right to keep and bear arms, our right to life and right to self governance. The Beast must rule and must rule with an iron fist. Tyranny, totalitarianism is the game.

While we are at war with an obvious foreign enemy that attacks with fire and bombs, we have another not so obvious enemy here at home that aids and abets the known foreign enemy.

We must not allow this domestic enemy to destroy us from within. The enemy I'm speaking of erodes away our constitution, our traditions, our society. It infiltrates and controls our government departments and agencies at every level. Infiltrates our public institutions, schools, churches, news media, entertainment industry, corporate entities, especially our political parties.

I'm speaking of the old enemy of Marxism/communism, more well known here at home as socialism/liberalism. It uses government enforced tools of radical feminism, homosexualism, radical environmentalism, abortionism, racism, atheism, confiscatory taxation, social security, medicare, welfare, redistributionism, compulsory government education, compulsory unionism, overburdening regulation, and many other forms of government overstepping, expansion, intrusion and abuse.

And I'm directly speaking of the primary American home of socialism/liberalism and the party that champions all of the above isms and includes them in their party platform, and in addition to all of the above also directly aids and abets the foreign enemy: the Democrat Party.

Not to name names, but I'm speaking of Kennedy, Schumer, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Kerry, Gore, Dean, McKinney, Boxer, Feinstein, Feingold, and the list goes on and on and on. And we'll throw in the McCains and Specters, et al, from our side of the aisle for good measure.

We readily recognize all of the above as enemies of our constitution and enemies of self-governance and freedom and we band together to fight them and their partners in crime, otherwise known as the mainstream media, especially when they willingly and knowingly provide aid and comfort to the foreign enemy.

We recognize them when they throw up the big issues of abortionism, feminism, homsosexualism, environmentalism, redistributionism, and get up close and personal with their in your face perversions.

We recognize them as the enemy when they take away our rights, take away our guns, take our tax dollars, take our families, our children, deprive us of our freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc.

We recognize them as the enemy when they use the ACLU and other radical anti-freedom legal organizations against us.

We recognize them as the enemy when they use their organized labor unions against us.

We recognize them when they use International ANSWER and other socialist/communist fronts against us.

We recognize the enemy when they use liberal activist judges against us to get around the constitution and or to overrule the will of the people as expressed at the ballot box.

Now what I want to know is, why do we fall to pieces and eat our own when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration? Hmmmmm?

It's the same liberal/socialist/Marxist/communist groups and people that we've been fighting all along. It's the same enemy using the same tools!

The game has not changed! It's the same old enemy!

The radical Marxist/socialists are behind the illegals.

The same radical feminist/homosexualist/abortionist/environmentalist antiwar pinko communist union thug that joins any other leftist protest is right back there helping the illegal immigrant gain entry into America.

And they're using the same divide and conquer techniques. They infiltrate our political parties and organizations. They plant disinformation bombs and sow the seeds of political discontent. They are masters in the use of propaganda and rabble rousing.

Recognize the enemy for what he is and do not allow them to use divisive issues to destroy our conservative movement. We are winning. We must not be sidetracked by an issue that will be solved in due time as we elect more conservative members to our government and continue replacing liberal activist judges with constitutionalists.

The goal is the same as it's always been. We must hold the line and advance our cause. Never willingly give ground to the liberal/socialists! Never retreat! Never surrender!

The Beast must be destroyed!

Hi B4Ranch - You can ask me to do that :o) but I am leaving in five minutes and won't be back until late tonight.

If you go to the source I took the info from, perhaps you can reason it out yourself. And btw, it was not a Repub friendly source. Bye for now.

All those lofty sounding words just to say you will be perfectly happy when the Democrats regain power and President Hillary Clinton gets to appoint the next round of America hating abortionist Supreme Court justices? That'll teach us all a lesson, eh? What a waste of pixels.

No, the numbers aren't there but I diod chuckle when I read,

""Historically, the make-up of the federal bench has generally resembled a gently swinging pendulum - moving somewhat to the left under a Democratic president, swinging somewhat to the right under a Republican," the report observes. "During the Reagan-Bush era, in fact, it wasn't gentle at all, but marked a rightward shift... President Clinton, by contrast, tended more towards the middle, appointing moderate nominees.

"But when Republicans took over the Senate in 1995 and began their stalling campaign against Clinton nominees, they effectively placed their hands on the pendulum. Now right-wing advocates wish to push the pendulum far to the right, by filling the vacancies they helped to perpetuate, particularly with right-wing ideologues." "

Repeal the 17th amendment.

Thanks Jim. I am embarrassed to say I had to go look up the 17th amendment to see what it said. After reading it, however, I don't see how repealing it will help balance the branches of government. Maybe you could explain. Thanks

Here it is:

AMENDMENT XVII Passed by Congress May 13, 1912. Ratified April 8, 1913.

Note: Article I, section 3, of the Constitution was modified by the 17th amendment.

The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.

When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.

This amendment shall not be so construed as to affect the election or term of any Senator chosen before it becomes valid as part of the Constitution.

Very well written. Thank you Jim. It's interesting you refer to Russia as the Beast in the early part of the article. The book of Revelations refers to the mult-colored beast with Russia represented as the feet of a bear. In Revelations, the beast wages war against the women who sits on top of her, I speculate this would be America, since our national symbol is the statue of liberty, a women. Revelations also refers to Israel and says Israel is protected and carried away from harm by the great eagle. Revelations is fascinating and I'm seeing it become startingly accurate, it's worth dusting off the old bible and checking it out.

Extra points for using the word puerile. LOL.

Believe what you want. Do what you think is right. But don't be surprised if what you are advocating here does not bring the results you are looking for.

Then again, perhaps it will bring you EXACTLY the results you are looking for.

Good luck.

And since this was addressed to both of us—hi Mike!

The 17th amendment deprives our sovereign states of their constitutionally guaranteed right to "equal Suffrage in the Senate" and effectively shifts the balance of power away from the state governments and to the feds. The senators no longer represent their sovereign states as the founders intended. In fact, you might as well say we no longer have sovereign states. The real power is concentrated in a few hands within the all powerful federal government. Again, just opposite to what was originally intended.

What makes you think I'm staying home.

If you are going to personally attack me, at least base it on something you know. In this case, you guessed wrong.

I don't want to elect democrats either, but I fail to see why we must assume that it is either the platform of the leadership or the democrats. That is a false assumption. It is easier for the leadership of the republican party to honor the wishes of the population. Why must I accept a substandard way of governance?

If the best argument for the republicans is that we are not as bad as the Democrats, we are going to get waxed at the next election, regardless of how much sense your arguments make, as people will not vote for an administration tyhat is trying to buffalo us into believing that they are with us.

Our America is not a trophy to be won by one of two opposing teams. Just because the Republicans win does not mean "Game Over", we take the trophy and go home, rah, rah, rah. Republicans, including the President have openly taken advantage of the good people that worked very hard to get them elected by not carrying out the Will of the people. The vast majority of Americans are opposed to Illegal Immigration, and out of control spending, yet the opposite of the citizens Will is being proposed. I for one am tired of holding my nose to elect reps that turn their backs on us, the tax paying legal citizens of America. I will not vote Republican simply for the sake of having a Republican in office when we know what that brings. Jim, I applaud your efforts because I believe you have good intentions, but I will respectfully disagree that we should maintain our present course.

Referring to the illegal immigration issue - neither enforces the border -- let's not go overboard with people you disagree with. Are you willing to abandon me and my support on all other issues, or is it so important that I agree with the party line 100% of the time, that you no longer want me in the party?

Your big tent republican vision is quite small if you expect everyone to agree without dissent.

At least on the immigration issue, I believe I stand with the majority of the public...

This country can recover from a deficit, a flood of illegals, or a scandal or two. We have before. It can't, imo, recover from a socialistic train wreck the dems would send us on if they were to be back in power. Rue the day.

All those lofty sounding words just to say you will be perfectly happy when the Democrats regain power and President Hillary Clinton gets to appoint the next round of America hating abortionist Supreme Court justices? That'll teach us all a lesson, eh? What a waste of pixels.

I will right here name to you the Liberals I have voted for in my entire life. Gerald R Ford-R, George HW Bush {Twice in the general election} Bob Dole-R, Bill Frist-R {once}, Don Sundquist-R {once but not the second term}, Lamar Alexander-R {twice as governor but not for U.S. senator}, and I voted for Fred Thompson twice who although was Conservative was a major disappointment at the last. Fred really was a great lawyer. He helped bring down a criminal governor in Tennessee who was among other things selling pardons. In the Committee hearings and in the senate trial Fred lost his nerve.

Ok now for my list of Democrats I have ever voted for in a national or state election. {none not a one}. Can you say the same? Independent Constitutional Conservatives? Yes a few. Phillips, Peroutka, Independent against Alexander U.S. senator race General Election. Thats it. The rest went to the GOP except on some local county races. I didn't vote for Frist last election nor did I vote for the DEM I left the ballot blank in disgust and voted other offices. BTW here is Frist name William Harrison Frist (born February 22, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee) is a Republican U.S. Senator from Tennessee. I never did this either I can't get it to come up right now due to a site error but the source is http://campaign.knoxnews.com/2001/contributeto.cfm?id=23797 William Frist either $1000 or $2000 to Phil Bredesen-D the current Dem governor. It was either 2000 or 2001 he donated I can't remember for certain. The Frist Family is heavy into Dem donations. That donation though would have been for Bredesens mayor run in Nashville most likely.

Now the goods on Alexander. He backed Sundquist even as far as to support the state income tax. Alexander is a Big Government Liberal that is why I voted Independent on his senate run. I would have gladly voted for Ed Bryant-R but someone in Washington DC made certain their good friend Alexander got prompt GOP backing even on the day Fred retired. Does it not strike you odd that there was an organized effort within the GOP Leadership to dump on the House Managers?

Bill Frist LOL what a real gem. He borrowed Hillary's Universal Health Care Plan and help put it over Medicare. I do my home work but many don't and simply take the GOP blindly at it's word no matter how bad the idea is.

You despise John McCain right? Well good old John Boy has been a good pack mule for the White House. Think maybe John Boy and George are not that far apart on most issues? John Boy being his pack mule for pathetic legislation no one else in the GOP would push for him? Hum makes a person think. Every bad idea McCain has been there and Bush has signed it including Campaign Finance reform.

CONSERVATIVES is the way out of this. Ending Career RINO and Rockefeller Liberals careers is the way out. If you want the GOP to be the answer {and I have no problems with it being the answer} then these must go at all cost and new Conservative canidates ran. Yes it may cost seats for a term. There is no other way short of another party.

I would not advise willingly giving up the majority even for one term. We may lose it forever. We're going to have a hard enough time holding the line as it is. Best try to hold on to every seat we can possibly salvage... (well, except for McCain's. That one is unsalvagable). Wishful thinking, but maybe some of them can be picked off in the primaries.
