The problem with Iran's nuclear capability is that we must find out who is providing the know how for them.

Iran is a backward country without central sewer systems, just barely beyond the stage of basket weaving and pottery making. Iran is without an industrial infrastructure needed to support advanced technology and scientific projects.

Anything more modern than a curved sword must come into the country from outside. Iran's only resource is oil and that must be extracted, refined and distributed by others.

Who is building the nukes for Iran? That is the question. Is it Russia? Germany? France? When we find out who it is we can stop it.

Meanwhile Iran's President (unpronounceable), and the rest of the world pretends that it is Iran who has suddenly lept 2000 years ahead of its culture and is developing nukes on its own.

When you have the money from oil production, you can buy anything you desire. Making a nuke isn't rocket science anymore. The basic plans are available on the internet.

We did. The vision and scope for Iran's nuclear program was set in the early 60s under the Shah with the Atoms for Peace program.

After the 1979 Revolt, we slapped a ban on them and kept pressure on other European countries to stay away/cancel possible suppliers. Reagan and Herbert Walker kept them on lockdown. That changed in 1995 - Iran signed the Busher deal with Russia, and signed a deal with China for a conversion plant and uranium gas.

The incompetence of Bill Clinton arrrrggghhh!!!!!

And of course there was Operation Merlin, which Clinton authorized, that gave away flaw-ridden detonator plans to the Iranians, with our double agent unfortunately offering to fix the errors for cash.

You know what ticks me off the most about all this? We had Russia beaten. Toast. Stomped. Instead of more forcibly exerting our authority, we gave them tons of money and support to get back in the game.
