"Tell that to Nich Berg's father, Cindy Sheehan, Hanoi John Kerry and John Murtha."
That has nothing to do with the topic, nor with my comments.
You have voiced my feelings exactly--however, you have said them in a far gentler manner than I would have---thank you for "telling it like it really is"----
(wonder how many millions the four 'witches' received for the deaths of their husbands?)---when a serviceman dies they don't give millions to their 'next of kin'
Good advice, LeoWindhorse... thanks!
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
Truthfully, I think Ann Coulter has "Ist der Hai gesprungen." There was no need to attack women widowed by the 9/11 attacks except to get attention for her own book.
If they're using their widowed status to get attention, she's using them to get attention.
A pox on all of them.
I do agree with Scotswife, and am tired of the rudeness, coarseness, etc. as well.
However, it is not a battle most convervatives wanted. In her book "Slander", she perfectly describes where this all came from, and it didn't begin with conservatives calling liberals names.
As an example, try to name one single Republican ex-President who has denounced a sitting President. Bingo. You cannot, no matter how far back you might go. Carter and Clinton have certainly opened the doors on that taboo. You would think they would avoid doing it, having occupied the Oval Office themselves and might have a little sympathy.
Not them. And they are representative of nearly the entire liberal portion of the political spectrum. I, for one, am glad there is SOMEONE who will speak to them in a way THEY can understand...and that someone is Ann Coulter. As Whittaker Chambers said: "Innocence seldom utters outraged shrieks. Guilt does."
How does the old Air Force saying go? If flak is causing damage, it must be hitting close to the mark...
I just visited DU and un-believably there is a long thread sympathizing with some dolt crying over his mothers death from a botched hotel room abortion. ABORTION REALLY IS A SACRAMENT TO democRATS.
You didn't write my entire comment.
Did you miss the part where I said I have come to EXPECT that type of thing from liberals?
I have admired certain conservatives because they allow their ideas to speak for themselves.
They can defeat liberals on the merits of their arguing the issues instead of resorting to playground taunting.
One doesn't have to personally attack these widows when all they have to do is debunk their ideas.
But maybe that won't sell as many books.
I love when they write reviews of a book they haven't read. Typical.
yes, apparently it is 'abridged' , but at least she herself decides what to abridge , I assume , if she herself is the reader. Tons of fun to listen to Miss Coulter read her own material .
These gals are not famous for their ideas. Their ideas are not exceptional . If anyone else were to advance them they would not be heard. They are heard simply because they are celebrities, and intellectually no more to be taken seriously than the Dixie Chicks.
I just ordered the audio CD from amazon. I noticed it is abridged also, but I thought the same as you did - Ann certainly knows best what to cut from her own book. Thanks again for the advice... can't wait to hear it! :o)
Yes, she is too skinny, but...
I saw her in person at Wellesley College last month, and she is not all that physically attractive in person.
But...I do not love her for her looks...:)
She was BRILLIANT in the Liberalland home of Hillary and Halfbright...pulled no punches. If anyone is interested, I will repost my "after action report" of her appearance in the Lions Den of Wellesley College...:)

I never suspected their ideas would be exceptional...they're liberals afterall.
I wouldn't say they were celebrities before...but they sure are now aren't they?
Surprised?
New to on line book reviews are we?
Do not take the reviews over at Amazon seriously. Most of the reviews are by persons who never actually read the book. That has been going on for years.
I did one review of a book of Ann's book years ago. I think that I titled it Bookstore Mazes.
That had to do with the fact that you could not find her book without asking for a roadmap. They usually hide her books in the stores. Believe it or not, that is a fact. A True Fact for all of you deaf dumb and wanna be blind ones.
Effectively, you are putting book stores out of business with your ridiculously simple mindlessness.
Anyhow, the reviews can be good if you get to read some of the truly bright folks, but for the star searchers....Forget about it. They mean nothing in real life. A bunch of assholes trying to put down something that they have not read.
I'm hoping for something extra from Ann with this new book. I was annoyed with her last one because it was largely a repeat of her columns over the previous few years. Ripoff! I didn't need that sheite. I know where I have been.
