She's spent five years recovering from the last run at the White House, but Tipper Gore says she's ready if her husband wants to do it again.
"If he were going to run in the future, of course I would support him," Tipper Gore told ABCNews' Claire Shipman in her first television interview in four years. "I think he'd be a fantastic president. He already got a majority of votes of people in this country once, and so that says something."
Al Gore is back in the political spotlight with his new documentary on global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth," and some are wondering if he'll make another run for president.

unless he made a secret deal with Bill Clinton that he wouldn't run against his wife. I don't think he and Bill are very close. I can't believe that, in his heart of hearts, Al doesn't secretly resent Bill for not doing the decent thing and resigning during the impeachment. If he had, Al would've assumed the presidency, and would've been the incumbent in the 2000 race - a huge advantage over W.

Tipper Gore told ABCNews' Claire Shipman "...he'd be a fantastic president. He already got a majority of votes of people in this country once..."Stupid twit.
Ignorance of this magnitude could only come from a true idiot.
But then...look what the vapid dumbass married.
Right on, Tipper!

Tipper is just hoping she gets another Tongue Probe. She hasn't had one since that wonderful day in 2000 when Al tickled her tonsils at the COnvention. memories........

He got a majority of the vote when he ran? 48.4% is not a majority. Maybe Mrs Gore needs some math lessons. She ought to get together with the anti Bush protestors who carry signs saying "50.7% is not a mandate." Yet Mr Bush DID get a majority of the vote in 2004, better than Gore or Clinton did.

If Al had any brains or courage, he would have threatend to resign over the Monica mess. And if Bill didn't then step aside, he could've resigned and been in a very strong position for 2000.
But, alas, the Clinton's have his FBI file, and he is a coward...
