WASHINGTON The United States has found 500 chemical weapons in Iraq since 2003, and more weapons of mass destruction are likely to be uncovered, two Republican lawmakers said Wednesday.
"We have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, chemical weapons," Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said in a quickly called press conference late Wednesday afternoon.

Russian, Chinese, and French fingerprints? Spooked Republicans? Ignoring Drive-By-Media?
It's a lie. They don't exist. Everyone knows that.
Oh the MSM is ALL over the story . . . http://news.search.yahoo.com/news/search?p=Santorum&c=
/sarcasm
And then there is THIS coverage . . . http://news.search.yahoo.com/search/news?p=wmds&x=wrt
the left does not believe that these are of any consequence. There are reports that some of these weapons are "degraded" and they are also not the ones that we went to war over, therefore, they are irrelevant.
They just don't want to admit that they were wrong and Bush was right. That concept is just too much for them to bear.
This was discussed in great detail
last night on Hannity & Colmes.
Colmes and his lady guets pooh-poohing
the whole thing as pre-1991 stuff
which is no longer valid. Hannity
and his guest blistering the Liberals
for sniding Bush and Blair re the WMD
"false info" as entry into war.
The other main point is that only
one page of a much lengthier document
is being released to the public.
If I were making an eduated guess,
I'd say Karl Rove intends to "leak"
little tidbits like this periodically
just to infuriate and undermine the
Democrats as we approach November, 2006.
All of the above and pubbies don't want to I guess.....That's all I can come up with as to why....
But they're OLD WMDs. Therfore, they are not counted as WMDs.........
These are not the weapons of mass destruction you are looking for!
They were all moved to Syria and Iran by our allies from Russia, FRance and China.
yeah, right. They are duds.
From http://www.hssinternational.com/code/tactip/tips/tip07.html:
Sarin Gas-
Sarin, a colorless and odorless gas, has the lethal dose of 0.5 milligram for the average adult. It is 26 times more deadly than cyanide gas, with a lethal adult dose of 0.5 milligram (approximately the size of a pinprick droplet).
When released in the air, the vapor is slightly heavier, so it hovers close to the ground. Sarin will degrade much quicker in humid and wet weather conditions. However, as the temperature rises, so does sarins lethal duration.
hmm, I don't see any humid and wet weather conditions in Iraq, do you? Dud? I think not...
It would get in the away of the "Bush Lied" cattle call of the Democrats for the 06 Election !!!
You just have to love how far all these liberal losers in the media and in politics have stuck their necks on this issue. I have a feeling the blade is about to come down.
From MSNBC: "Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif., says "it's a bit suspicious that this was rolled out the night before" the debate and vote in the Senate on withdrawal from Iraq "by a senator in a close political race."
Santorum is down 18 points in his Senate re-election contest, according to a poll released yesterday."
Yeah, when there's bad news always questions the timing and then the messenger. Right out of the Democratic Playbook.
You're kidding, right? The Kool-aid crowd will always have a moonbat explanation: planted by the CIA --- Karl Rove did it --- you name it.
