TWO explosions rocked Beirut today. The Israeli military, which has been targeting the city's southern suburbs in its war against Hezbollah, had no immediate comment on the blasts.

I never watch CNN. But it was on at the pub. And they were all over this. The sound was down, so I gained an interesting perspective by watching the video and accompanying headlines. What, exactly, this has to do with Sen Hillary Clinton, I can't say, but they managed to get her face into the context somehow.
It's hard to watch that and not come away convinced that it's scripted to create, shall we say, certain impressions and associations.
That, I suppose, is what journalizm is. But it sure aint just reporting the facts impartially.

Seriously, a reporter close to a 500 pounder going off would call it a "huge explosion."
A truly huge explosion is when a 500 pounder explodes in an arms dump. I love the sight of secondaries. They look like victory.
