Smoke is apparently symbolic...maybe the picture is supposed to have more meaning to moslems than to us and would explain why someone would want to enhance the smoke.....

Sorry, that doesn't explain it in my mind. You're assuming that hajj is the one who photoshopped it. Why is the rest of Reuters' organization above suspicion?

The change in the pattern of smoke gives a gullible viewer a feeling that more devastation occurred in a heavily populated urban environment. In other words, it provokes more of an anti-Israeli reaction in viewers predisposed to such thinking. Another ploy in the Islamoscist propaganda operation.

Before the 60 Minutes "TANG Memo" fiasco I suspect that they might have tried to stonewall like CBS did in that case and - successfully - in prior cases. But I would think that they might have the threat of beeing sued by Israel for defamation.And there was enough internal evidence in the fraudulent image itself to convict them in front of a jury. They've got enough trouble as it is; from now on we will remark about any Reuters image, "Sometimes Reuters Photoshops."

He's not. I just have this feeling that if he was going to photoshop one of his pics, he would have done a better job of it. I know nothing about photography, but it's obvious to me it's been altered. Something about the premise that he altered it doesn't make sense to me. He's a pro and would have known that it looked like shit.

Good point. But if he has a habit of doing it with never a question, his hatred of all things western may have overridden his ability to see clearly.

I'm sure they will. I saw a post somewhere questioning whether the his shot of the Lebannon airport in flames was actually 2 photos spliced together. He's going to be rightfully scutinized now.
You are so right. 35 percent of us filter our worldview through a logical prism, are self sufficient, and driven by personal responsibility. The rest are led like sheep. The media could care less about us. It's the elitists, the ones driven by guilt, socialists, the devotees of politically correct religion, the parasites on the public dole, and the minorities that benefit from the welfare state that are our opposition.
That's a lot of opposition. These people eat up the swill the media gives them and fully believe it. My wife is one of them.
