Chris Wallace: Clinton Chewed Out His Staff After Interview While Still at Fox-TV Studio
Fox TV Morning Show (25 September) ^ | 25 September 2006 | AmericanInTokyo

Posted on 09/25/2006 4:51:39 AM PDT by AmericanInTokyo

Chris Wallace (FOX TV) just stated on the Monday morning news segment of Fox TV (aired in the 7:00 a.m. EST hour) that, not only did Bill Clinton retain his anger at Wallace after the interview was over and the cameras were off (despite Wallace trying to part on friendly terms), Clinton absolutely fumed at his own personal staff, right then and there while still on the Fox TV premises, for getting him into the interview with Wallace where he had earlier lost his head.

Wallace said Clinton's blow up at his staff for this mistake was very visible and very audible and very emotional.

He's utterly disgusting. He's spent his whole life creating a legacy of lies.

Lanny KNEEPAD Davis was just on FNC doing what he's paid to do...lol. Those kneepads must be wearing thin.

You could tell how angry the dofus was when Wallace leaned over the shake his hand, dofus did not make a move to lean anywhere - except possibly to the left.

(Re the other thread -- I tho't that's what you meant.)

Sometimes keywords are the better part of a thread. I laughed at that one, too.

Bubba is deluded. I'm at a friend's using dial up, trying to centipede my way through the ten-minute second portion of YouTube's version of Fox News: bubba tossing Chris Wallace like a lettuce and tomato salad, and it's just too painful to try to do this in four-word sound bites. But I did get through about half of it. When bubba said he tried to get binny boy, unlike "some," and it was awfully clear who "some" people were, I about lost it. Sometimes it's hard to tell when he's just plain being delusional.

The neo-cons can call each other neo-cons but when non-neo-cons it's code for Joooooos. Clinton acted like ONLY the Jooooos (neo-cons)wanted war.

You're right - No way did Clinton set this up to make himself look like a hot-head fool. No one wants to look as bad as he looked.

see, that's why I feel like we give 'em way too much credit when we say they staged the whole thing. why would anyone stage a frustrated, delusional, rant, when he's really trying to make everyone like him and reelect him/her?

The mere fact that either of the CLintons can still summon a loyal staff willing to stand around and get castigated for their OWN shortcomings shows that there are still lots of job opportunities for sadomasochists in the Democratic Party.

Clinton; "I left a 'comprehensive 'anti-terrorism' plan in place".

Rush obliterated this particular lie today, taking the clintonoid at his word and quoting from Richard Clarke's book, there was no "anti-terrorism plan," and so of course none was "passed on" to the Bush administration.

BOR is in arse kissing mode, hoping beyond hope he can get either of the Clintons on his show.

He's been angling for Hillary for about ten years now. BoR seems to think she's the biggest 'get' in the universe.

Gergan says Wallace "sandbagged" BJ.

I guess political "consultants" are about the same as politicians--the honest ones are the ones who stay bought. I've listened to david gergan on tv and read his schtick in one of the news-weaklies for decades, and he has yet to produce one original thought.

I honestly think that Clinton agreed to go on FNS because he believed that his "personal charm" would overcome any questions. Or maybe he thought that nobody would have the nerve to actually ask some "real" questions of him, since nobody else had, and they never ask that sort of thing of Hillary!

You are right about this. It is the pride that goeth before a fall. Ever the narcissist, Billyboy believes he has special qualities which elevate him above the reach of ordinary men. And he has a hired cadre of sycophants who reliably tell him so. Thus, although ordinary little Chris Wallace gave him a lesson, Bill Clinton is too mediocre an intellect, and too self-deceived, to learn from it. He will do this again in a year or two.

It's both pathetic and pathological.

LOL! Sweet irony.

Have you seen this?

"But November is still a way off. Republicans are more chipper than they have been in months, with falling gas prices and an uptick in President Bush's approval ratings. In a Gallup poll of likely voters last week, 48% said they would vote Democratic for Congress--and 48% said they'd vote Republican. Ken Mehlman, chairman of the Republican National Committee, says the opposition hasn't sold a vision for handling terrorism, Iraq or jobs. He also cites a drop-off in turnout for most Democratic primaries this year as one sign that the Dems aren't strong enough to mount a takeover of power on Capitol Hill. Which leaves the G.O.P. cautious but hopeful that it will be able to hang on to its majority. "The challenges aren't less, but the environment is better," says Mehlman. "If you look at the overall picture, this environment is not consistent with a surge election." In other words, the conditions aren't great, but maybe the Democrats' wave won't be quite big enough to let them surf into power.
