Vanity Opinion: Seven very BIG reasons to vote Republican tomorrow!
America's Judgement Day '06 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/06/2006 3:01:32 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Seven very BIG reasons to vote Republican tomorrow:

1) The war against global jihadism. There is no reason whatsoever to trust the Democrat Party with our national security against the global jihadists. They don't even recognize the threat, much less possess the spine to actually fight the enemy. And the cut and run Democrat Party will not stop at surrender. Make no bones about it, their overall objective includes making the US completely defenseless.

2) The ongoing battle for the constitution and against liberal judicial activism. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to trust the liberal/socialist Democrat Party with majority power, which they will immediately and stubbornly use to block the president's constitutionally minded judicial appointments. Obstructionist filibuster from the minority party is bad enough. Don't give the constitution-hating Democrat Party majority power.

3) Taxes. We know exactly what the redistributionist/socialist Democrat Party will do regarding the issue of making the tax cuts permanent. In fact, we know they have absolutely no problem whatsoever with raising our taxes.

4) Social issues. The Marxist/liberal Democrat Party is salivating over the prospects of homosexual marriage, unlimited abortion on demand, socialized health care, taxpayer funded political campaigns, "fairness" in the media, gun-control, the continued erosion of freedom of religion, even the abolishment of the Electoral College. If you care about moral government, moral society, freedom, liberty, etc, and do not wish for a permanent socialist Democrat one party rule, you cannot possibly trust the godless/liberal Democrat Party with power over these issues.

5) Global warming baloneyism. Again, the Marxist/liberal Democrat Party is salivating over the prospect of re-signing onto the Kyoto treaty which will be a mortal blow to America's chances of remaining a sovereign nation. Empowering the globalist Democrat Party now will strengthen their chances of not only holding the majority in '08, but actually electing a liberal Democrat to the presidency. So if you care for our national sovereignty, and care about the survival of our free nation in the future you cannot possibly trust the globalist/liberal Democrat Party with majority power now.

6) Border control. Granted, President Bush has disappointed and angered many conservatives over his stand on border control, illegal immigration, guest worker programs, etc, but again, allowing a globalist/Marxist Democrat Party the majority will do nothing for border control but make it worse. The Republican congress is the ONLY thing standing for you against the immigration programs you fear most. The globalist Democrat Party is all for open borders and immediate amnesty for the illegals. They're waiting with open arms to grant driving licenses, voting rights, free health care and welfare to all illegal immigrants in exchange for their votes. Do not grant the Democrat Party this power.

7) Speaker Pelosi. Yes I care. Despite the political pundits making little over worrying about who becomes the next Speaker of the House and whether or not it should influence your vote - please worry! Be afraid. Very afraid. Having an outright Marxist as Speaker of the House is definitely something to be mighty alarmed about!

A word about protest votes. IF you care about national sovereignty, self-government, constitutionally limited government, freedom, liberty, our traditional American way of life, etc., you cannot possibly sit out this election or vote in any manner whatsoever that will help usher in a Democrat Party majority. Voting third party (if you may have otherwise voted Republican) is not conscientious, nor is it in your own best interest, nor in the best interest your causes, nor in the best interest of our free Republic. It's actually destructive. Giving the liberal/Marxist Democrat PARTY the majority at this time of multi-fronted global war is simply empowering and strengthening the enemy both foreign and domestic. If you want to register a protest, it would be far better and more effective to hold a sign, write a letter, send a telegram, call your representative or visit his office, withhold your financial support, but do not withhold your vote! Do not empower your mortal enemy!

Sheila and I and every one I know in my neck of the woods has or will be voting "R." I hope you will too. NOTHING would send a message to the nation and to the jihadists of the world like a landslide for the Republicans. Don't make the day for the Marxist Democrat Party and their more than willing accomplices in the leftist media. Vote "R!"

What can be next? Complaints about our military's absentee ballots and faulty postmarks?

You are welcome...

The only thing I know is that Judge Bates was appointed by Holden. Garrison was appointed by Ashcroft.

But I don't follow the court of appeals very closely...

JUDICIAL ACTIVISM? well obviously, don't vote for democrats...but what exactly have the republicans done to deserve our votes? In my area not much; except talk. If they've been doing More than talk in you area { Rick Santorum for example} get out there and vote.

Other wise...why would you expect them to do more AFTER they win?

Just stay home!

If people are voting that turd in the hopes he'll support an "R" for majority leader, don't be surprised to watch him caucus with the Dems if it came down to the Senate being equally split.

Do you realize the difference between a majority Republican Senate Vs. a Majority Democrat Senate??? In a year where the majority was not in such danger, I'd say kick the piece of crap out.

However, THE issue is the Majority....period!!!!

He does NOT have to support an R for majority leader -- if he is elected and it means keeping a Republican majority RATHER than a 50/50 Senate....an R WILL be the majority leader (again...period!)

The Republicans would keep the chairmanships AND the majority on Senate committees and the majority controlled AGENDA that comes with it...including what bills get action and what do not...and WHAT HAPPENS TO JUDGES.

Do you really think that a Republican majority WITH chafee is worse than democrat majority (or even 50/50) without him.

The most important issue re: the Senate is IF the dems take over the majority.

ALL we'll EVER get is "Borked" conservative SCOTUS candidates.

We have at least one justice that should be leaving before Bush is out of office...maybe 2. THAT alone could make a difference for at least another 10-15 years on the makeup of the court...and the law in this country!

When it gets down to it, Chafee's "Support" means little if we retain the majority. The Vital thing is DO NOT GIVE THE DEMOCRATS THE MAJORITY IN BOTH HOUSES -- and all the committees...THAT is government 101!

Taxes,,,well if you think it's the most important ssue, then you'd better vote republican, It IS their most imprtant issue,

If on the other and, social issues like vouchers, judicial restraint, and abortion are more important to you...well then republicans have been giving nothing but empty promises since 1978.

Maybe it's time to call them to account.

If not now, when?
Stay home!
Stay home!
Let the GOP lose.
Then we'll bring the new crop in!

..............but if you'd like something different....stay home...............

When Speaker Bella-Pelosi (I van't to suck your blood),
asks Chairman Charlie Rangel to draw up a new set of tax rules and rates,
you may have wished that your vote would have counted.

When leader Reid asks John F'n Kerry to formalize his plan to cut and run, so that the murderers can have a month long celebration shooting their RPGs in the air; as the rockthrowers will have believed that they vanquished the most powerful force that mankind has ever known, and continue to pervert the civilized world,

you may have wished that your vote would have counted.

No-one can sit out this election. Hold your nose and vote for the better alternative.

Just stay home!

How about, YOU just stay home and stop wasting bandwidth with your childish rants and we'll try to keep American safe from democrats without you?

“I hope that someday your children and grandchildren will tell of the time that a certain president came to town at the end of a long journey and asked their parents and grandparents to join him in setting America on the course to the new millennium—and that a century of peace, prosperity, opportunity, and hope followed.

So, if I could ask you just one last time: Tomorrow, when mountains greet the dawn, would you go out there and win one for the Gipper?” —-- Ronald Reagan, November 7, 1988

It's all about the judges. So far, I think President Bush and the Republican senate have a pretty good record. If you want abortion to go on forever, just stay home and let the Democrats control who gets to sit on the SCOTUS.

Why don't YOU not only stay home, but go to a different forum, since anyone who posts such drivel, is not a conservative at all.

If people here followed your advice, then the Dems win. Is THAT what you want? Do you imagine that a Dem majority would have ever allowed Roberts and Alito to be sitting on the SCOTUS?

How about the WOT? Charlie Rangle is already planning on defunding it and NO, that is NOT something the president can veto.

And then there's taxes. I just bet that YOU yearn to pay higher taxes! Come on, just admit it...fess up.
