Since they are installing 64,000 centrifuges as we speak.... either this is purposeful deception or our intelligence weenies want to be sure that they don't get accused of crying wolf as in Saddam's WMD!
Be interested in your take.

Today, the IAEA, or some alphabet nuke agency, found traces of enriched uranium and plutonium in their garbage in Iran.
The new centrifuges have been going on-line for about six weeks.
(I'm learning FAR more about Atomic Bomb materials than I ever wanted to, or thought I would!)
Israeli Intel (a bookmark I lost) indicated that Iran would have enough fissile material for their first A-Bomb sometime between Dec, 2006, and April, 2007.
I have more faith in Israeli intel than any others because their existence depends on it! Also, Bibi was in the news today saying essentially, that if the good Nations of the World don't solve the problem about Iran, Israel will have to do it!
Talking with Iran is bullshit! They can't be trusted - none of the muzzies can. I think the talkin' is over, and the killin's about to begin. Stay well armed and safe.............FRegards
Actually it's the other way 'round. The Tu-95, Bear A, was first seen in the mid 1950s, although the first prototype flew in November of 1952. The TU-142 is a Maritime recon version, with lots of radomes, depending on the variant. It first flew as an upgraded Tu-95RTS in 1968, the Tu-95RTS itself having first flown in Sept. of 1962. The changes from the RTS version were enough to earn it a new designation.
Kurdistan.
Russia, or Kirghistan? We use the old Soviet base in Biskek (known as Frunze under the Soviets) for operations in the region. Here's an article, from about the right time frame, indicating a collision between a USAF KC-135 and a Kirghiz TU-154 airliner.
The TU-154 is similar to a Boeing 727.
IOW, I think this whole article is from someone who's been hitting the bong water just a little too much.
I believe you're right about the accident being in Kirghistan! Good find!
I still can't find the data on the Bear bombers. I saw it on FOX news, and in the St. Pete Times, but can't find it now.
And no - I don't hit the pipe. Never did, and I don't drink anymore either. I could be just crazy, but I wouldn't know it, would I? Stay well armed and safe, El Gato, and thanks for the find................FRegards
Roger that! I mixed them up - shoulda read more. Great link BTW. Thanks!
I think I'll check with you and Tommyjo before I post about aircraft again. I srewed up a pic of the British Nimrod the same way a while back. ...............FRegards

Ezekiel 38-39...And maybe a little 36...
Ain't life grand! ;-)
What? Me Worry?
Nahhh...
Which is why I have not bought a single item manufactured by Toshiba since, nor will I ever do so. Its a shame, because the company makes a lot of really good and innovative products, but I won't enrich a company that endangers US security like that.
Agreed. UN is a massive Joke.
Here's a very interesting, and very scary, scenario to consider: http://www.therant.us/staff/kraft/10242006.htm
Without spilling the beans too much, it involves a sneak attack on a sleeping America...on a future December 7.
Read it, enjoy the Maalox, and consider what could well happen if we don't take out the Iranian and NK nuke facilities.
I have read that article, and I agree that it's a very possible scenario. Obviously, we're not the only ones that think so.
I didn't put everything in the original post, but THIS ONE surprised me! It's necessary to secure parts of Iran, and that would mean moving in from Iraq and possibly from the sea. Somewhere in The Gulf of Oman I'd suspect.
Stay well armed and safe...............FRegards
Agreed. The entire Mahdi possessed Iranian régime must be removed prior to those lunatics triggering a cycle of unthinkable regional & global chain of events. Before the Dems attempt to prevent action and head into typical appeasement mode.
Since Syria is also exporting jihadist killers into Iraq, responsible for the deaths (pre-planned murders) of Americans, Brits, Coalition members, plus hundreds of Iraqis, the Assad clan needs to be added to the removal list.
Recall this also, Russia supports both Syria & Iran with weapons and in Iran's case, 'nuclear technicians', so it remains an open question on Moscow's reaction to having two client states knocked out of the picture, one of which an intricate part of Putin's future energy empire in that of Opec's Iran.
A joint US/Israeli strike force (air) with additional Coalition support would be preferred, after all the same Islamic enemy is attacking both of us.
With Israel's very national survival repeated threatened by Iran's Ahmadinejad, even with Olmert at the helm, Israel will be forced to defend herself, even if Washington gets cold feet caused by the radical Dems.
That hour is rapidly approaching.
More fuel to the Islamic fire below:
Your projection(s) seems highly probable and well thought out.
At all costs Iran must be prevented from launching missiles at the Arabian or other Gulf based oil fields along with supertanker 'targets', which would be tantamount to Iran creating a back door 'Western financial panic' resulting in skyrocketing energy prices (far higher then Katrina related), coupled with ultra-bullish precious metals trending, while major stock indexes would quickly turn bearish in massive sell-off.
There is also a risk Iran has pre-planted terrorist saboteurs operating within the Arabian plus other Gulf oil sheikdoms, these being activated once the Iranian régime is confronted, which means preferably wiped out.
I would like to add, it is very possible the Bush doctrine regarding Iran, even previous to 9-11, was to take out Taliban controlled Afghanistan first, thus gaining the old Soviet air bases especially Herat which is in close proxcimitry to the eastern Iranian border.
Saddam's former ruled Opec Iraq was second on the list of terrorist exporting states bordering Iran, placing American /Western forces directly on the oil rich border of south-western Iran.
We should also keep in mind the US and other allied navies are patrolling the Persian Gulf and will be utilized against Iran when required.
"#2)-Israel will move North into Lebanon and finish-off Hizbolla (it made NO sense for them to stop last time), and will probably continue into Syria. The USA and Brits will probably lend Air cover as needed. All conventional weaponry."
I fully agree with you. It would not be surprising if Damascus was 'neutralized' which will result if Assad authorizes the diabolical usage of Saddam's 'stored' WMD (biological/chemical weapons) against the Jewish state.
Memories of the Shoah run very deep in Israel, so any attempts by Syria/Iran & their Hizballah or Hamas terrorist proxies to use 'gas' against Israelis will be met with swift & deadly reciprocity.

The US Navy has a carrier groups in the Persian Gulf, and Iran is fully aware of the power of those carrier groups.

What are the four U.S. Carriers doing in the Gulf?

As the American President George W. Bush steps up threatening rhetoric against Iran to force it suspend its nuclear program, calling for worldwide isolation of Tehran until it gives up its nuclear ambitions, experts predict that the coming days would see a much violent step by Washington against the Islamic Republic.
What asserts the experts fears is the fact that on October 31, two nuclear-powered carriers, the USS Eisenhower and USS Enterprise, arrived in Bahrain, accompanied by their carrier strike groups. And on November 9th, the USS Iwo Jima, and the USS Boxer also arrived.
Is President Bush up to something? Asked Rense.com
On October 11, American officials announced that the U.S., Bahrain and other states will hold their first naval exercise in the Gulf to practice interdicting ships carrying weapons of mass destruction and missiles.
