Rudy For President
Stardate: 0611.15

Posted on 11/15/2006 3:19:33 AM PST by The Wizard

They are beginning....the lies and the smears and the awful things that the fools think will turn good conservatives away from Rudy, but I tell you, and I am conservative, Rudy is the guy.....the Man....a leader for America who will hold our values and our heads up and not be scared away by liberals, the media or any tin horn dictator anywhere in the world

We need a man with values and principles and that man is Rudy G.....

they are going to karp about his re marriage, (so what) or the fact that he actually does not agree with every conservative position, but I say this election, the office of the president, it too important to be held hostage to "every stinking" ideal we all hold true....

CONSIDER the witch!!!!Is there anything more frightening than that.....

I would forgive Rudy G quite a lot if it meant that he would be represetnting America in the world....

They think the "Cowboy" was tough......

Welcome to New York

let's give these Islamofacists someone who will not be intimidated and who can kick some butt....

Let's give the media someone who knows where's the bodies are....Rudy was tried by Fire in NYC and he made it.....

I endorse Rudy G for President Of the United States.

FreeRepublic.com should also, IMHO

Events as yet to come int he world will dramatically shape the 208 election, in ways that we can't yet image. 9/11 was in no one's mind when W was inaugurated...it defined his presidency...or to put it more simplistically...it's difficult to picket an abortion mill in Queens, or the UN, when all of midtown Manhattan is contaminated by the residue of a dirty bomb exploding at Grand Central..

To allow the Neville Chamberlain party (democrats) to appease the terrorists will get far more people killed in the end. Rudy is the only one tough enough and articulate enough to stand up to the white flag wussies.

WOT is 100 times more important than the WOGM (War on Gay Marriage)

This may be the most important insight. We like to criticize liberals for choosing 'high culture' over fighting against Islamofacists because we think that path may lead to our demise. But, apparently we do similar thing. What's the point of pushing for getting a "Christian" president if it results in Hillary (or any other Dim) presidency, which is more likely to surrender to international pressure inc. from Islamic countries?

We like to say that WoT is a war for our survival: life-style, civilization, etc. And we look down upon liberals for complaining about 'human rights violation'. The way I see it, we are doing the same thing: we are complaining about 'life of the babies' at the expense of our own (and/or the future generation's) lives.

I am pro-life and I totally understand where you are coming from. Practically speaking the only way to reduce abortions is to get the right case to the Supreme Court and get it kicked back to the states to decide, where it should have been decided in the first place.

And if Rudy comes out and says that Abortion, gun control, gay marriage, etc are State issues (like they should be) I will probably back him. From my understanding he has stated that his choice for Chief Justice was Scalia. If that is true, that is good news. Scalia is a States rights kind of guy.

Well said. Funnily enough, I'm standing in Grand Central as I write this on my Palm Treo. You know, if something happened now, and I was allowed some final moments, I'd thank God for a President strong enough to get the bastards.

That's correct. He's not the liberal some wish he were, he's just not.

...the FReeper candidate of choice is going to be a 3rd party candidate that has yet to emerge.

Maybe. Could be instead they'll become ex-Freepers.

If you don't support the Second Amendment, then you will not have my vote. All indications are that Rudy is hostile to the Second.

Unfortunately the election all but guaranteed that will not happen. We don't have enough conservative Justices and now we will not be able to get them on the court.

Rudy is the only rep who doesn't have the "wuss" factor. He will rip new ones everywhere.

Like the abortion doctors he so lovingly supports? Or rip the guns from the cold dead hands of their (currently, but not with rudy)lawful owners? Or maybe the skank he shacked up with at he NY Governers mansion? I'm not sure your phrasing is coming across as intended.

SAY NO TO RUDY!

I'd prefer a more conservative candidate, too, but for whom would you vote if it came down to Rudy vs. Hillary?

With great reluctance I'd vote for Rudy too.

But a large number of social conservatives, most of whom have never heard of FR, will not. And that's why Giuliani will lose if he's the Republican candidate.

If we run a Republican social liberal against a Democrat social liberal, the Democrat will win. Social liberalism is the Democrats' home turf.

The Democrats and left-of-center independents will vote for the Democrat, and the remaining social liberal Republicans and independents will not have enough votes to offset the uncast votes from social conservatives who will stay home on election day.

This most recent election is solid proof of this phenomeon. Waving Pelosi's death grin gob menacingly at social conservatives didn't motivate them this time around. Screaming about Hillary won't do it next time.

If the choice is between two social liberals seeking to implement the same family-destroying agenda, why bother to vote?

But is it true he is for gay marriage? If so...I certainly will NOT consider him.

What do you think?

Rudy is not a conservative, and neither are those who support him!

Balance of the SUPREME COURT is also at stake in the next election and I truly believe Rudy will appoint conservative Judges. He will not have a pro baby killing litmis test.

From my understanding he has stated that his choice for Chief Justice was Scalia. If that is true, that is good news. Scalia is a States rights kind of guy.

Actually, he said Ginsberg was his model of an excellent Supreme Court justice.

Does that change your mind?

RINOs are bad: The "Vote For Us Because The Other Guy Is Worse" only works to motivate people when they perceive that there is a real difference between the two candidates; otherwise people stay home.

If conservative voters did in fact sit out the past election because they wanted to send a message, then it was because they did not believe that there was anything to be lost. Get rid of the RINOs, and people might again start to believe that there might be something to be gained.
