The Mansions of the Lord
Click the picture for music

To fallen soldiers let us sing
Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing
Our broken brothers let us bring
To the Mansions of the Lord

No more bleeding, no more fight
No prayers pleading through the night
Just divine embrace, eternal light
To the Mansions of the Lord.

Where no mothers cry and no children weep
We will stand and guard though the angels sleep
Through the ages safely keep
The Mansions of the Lord.

My condolences. I hope that in time (as has happened for me) you will feel no pain at the memory of your father, but will feel happiness at having had the privelege of having him as your father.

A salute to him!

A fine tribute for an American Patriot, and obviously a very good father. You have a right to be proud of him, this country was made best by men like your father. Best wishes of comfort and peace for you and your family.

May your Dad rest in eternal peace.

As a LEO he manned the thin line on the homefront war against crime. As such, he was a Brother Warrior just in a different battle to all Servicemen fighting foreign battles. Honors to him.

I thank you Dolly, for this wonderful response. We are blessed to have Robert home during this difficult time. Right now I'm away from home while at work, but will be off all next week for Thanksgiving. We'll spend some quality time with Robert before he has to leave to return to Iraq.
