You make perfect sense. There is no doubt in my mind that if the Republican Party chooses a pro-abortion nominee, it's time will be up, just as the Whig's days were up when they played these exact same political games with the central moral question of their day: Slavery.

To put it another way: Every "Republican" who is pushing a proven liberal like Giuliani or Romney is actually supporting an end to the Grand Old Party.

The core issue that holds the Reagan governing coalition together is respect for the sanctity of innocent human life.

Yes, I do like anyone who attacks liberals, and who will take the time and effort to divide the conservatives from the liberals.

You should stay out of it, unless you want to profit from it. Its a profit derived from division.

The same was true with McCain-Feingold, that doesn't make it a good law. Anyway, there are a lot of other votes on which Rep. Hunter voted the wrong way. Unfortunately, he's not a fsical conservative.

Duncan Hunter voted against McCain-Feingold and he tried to help improve that bad piece of law by voting for the 527 bill. I think you need to get a new website because that one will only give people more reasons to vote for Hunter.

It's too bad for you that Giuliani provides closer to ten percent than "seventy five or eighty percent." You might have had a point worth making.

LOL, and then the 7 of you can move to a mountaintop and declare yourself free of Rome. That would be if you were honest. I think you're a fifth columnist disruptor who will always vote for the leftmost demonrat.

Well, I just get sick of all this self-righteous "civility" and "diplomacy" when anyone a little left of the rest of the discussion trend feels they are getting overwhelmed, they start trying to make the case that they are "nicer" than those meanys that are overwhelming their weak arguments, etc., etc., etc... Yada, yada, yada...

More underhanded backstabbing and malicious mischeif have been propogated by the self-righteous "civility" crowd while they disgracefully put eveyone else down as not being as civil and even-handed and polite and fair minded and moderate and brimming with sophistry while simultaneously smearing their challengers with the label of "nasty!"

It's all so repetitive and predictable!!! (and tiresome, too!!!)

Sigh!!! You are quoting someone else with the "seventy five or eighty percent." I have NO idea what your're talking about...I never said those words about anyone. Please post to the right person and stop embarrassing yourself.

I'll have to repeat for you again...this is my position:

Quote:

I am not supporting anyone right now.

I just want someone with executive experience who has run a state or major municipality.

I want a guy who can appoint a GREAT judiciary and who is strong on national defense.

The Chief Executive cannot control states' rights issues. Getting bogged down in them simply fractures our side.

I don't want someone who has "just" been a Senator or House member.

That said...please convince me otherwise...but don't insult me.

End quote.
