WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Arizona Sen. John McCain won a Spartanburg, South Carolina straw poll Friday, an early sign of how conservative South Carolinians might view the GOP presidential field.
McCain beat former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani by two votes, 164-162

I expect to see some whack-the-mole jobs on Duncan Hunter once the media sees they can no longer ignore him. He's the best candidate out there, IMHO.
The question is whether he has enough appeal to moderates and dissatisfied (w/hillary/obama) to attrack the votes necessary to win. I listened to his CPAC speech and imo his delivery lacked fire.
I have to agree with you. Duncan is a good, but not a great speaker, but I think he'd be a good doer. Maybe the Veep slot or another high profile assignment would give him the exposure he needs to get elected.
I think it was Graham pulling the rabbit out. Two peas in a rotten pod.
