March On the Pentagon March 17, 2007 Washington, D.C.

On March 17, 2007 a group of anti-war protestors are planning to march to the Pentagon from Washington, D.C.

The March 17th anti-war demonstration will assemble at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (Constitution Gardens) at 12 noon in Washington, D.C. and march to the Pentagon.

In order to ensure that the Wall and other Memorials in the general area are not defaced, like what happened at the anti-war demonstration at the U.S. Capitol on January 27th. I am requesting that as many Rolling Thunder, Inc. chapters, members and supporters that can make it, meet at the Wall no later than 8:00 AM on the 17th.

We do not want, nor will we tolerate a repeat of what happened at the U.S. Capitol. Rolling Thunder members be sure to wear your Rolling Thunder vests on the 17th. Show your support to our Troops, to those who sacrificed their lives in the past Wars and to protect our Memorials. Hope you can make it.

Sgt. Artie Muller
Founder/Executive Director

I saw this referenced in an e-mail I received and posted this for the benefit of anyone who may wish to participate or know what is going on.

The e-mail also stated that the Military Order of the Purple Heart and other Veterans organizations will be joining Rolling Thunder to form a protective ring around the Wall to ensure the antiwar protesters do not desecrate the Wall or surrounding memorials.

I wish I could be there. Anti-war libtard head busting would begin immediately. I have no patience whatsoever for those panty waisted cowards.

I say let the USA put a BN or two of soldiers around the entire periphery of the puzzle palace and dare those lame ass anti-wer morons to pull the same kind of crap they did at the Capitol. Kent State II, the Sequel.

Hey, are you going to make it to the Gathering of Eagles? I know you were in D.C. recently. I am going, bringing a 13 year-old girl, and possibly another friend from Georgia.

Time to ROLL!!!!!

I see there is a second rally the next day (March 18th) in San Francisco (actionsf.org). Would love to join a counter protest for that one.

Quite the contrary. Whilst I agree with the emotional content of your statement...that is PRECISELY what the Agents Procateur behind these "anarchist" demonstrations WANT.

Better to have SO many people there in a protective mode so that no one even ATTEMPTS any bone head maneuvers. Then, is someone really IS that stupid....well let the bricks fall where they may.

And, I say, read up on a little thing called "Posse Comitatus Act of 1878"

I am more than well aware of the posse comitatus limitations, thank you. And I am also sick and tired of worthless shitbag anti-war protestors that see it as their duty to deface and disgrace monuments dedicated to our military.

If your knickers are in such a twist about sending Federal troops, then send the Guard. Posse Comitatus does not apply.

I see these peace folks are still having Vietnam flashbacks. Now they're marching on the Pentagon.

Code Pink's web site says they are meeting at the WWII Memorial before joining up with ANSWER. We don't want any photos like this again.

I was merely trying to point out that the "Black Bloc" protestors of the "anarchistic" bent...or at least their LEADERS...want folks to go ballistic on their front line nincompoops which they first drug and then send out as CANNON FODDER.

I don't have my "knickers in a twist" in FACT I don't even OWN any.

I DO however own a motorcycle and I just got off the phone with my 23-year retired Marine buddy with whom I'm planning a little visit to the WALL with this May...something about "thunder rolling"....anyway, I'll see you THERE with several hundred thousand of my closest friends. I'm hoping to get John Kerry's autograph....or not.

By the way, anyone who you encounter on the way to the Mall who needs.....let's say an "attitude adjustment"... can and should give you an outlet for your patriotic fervor. Ya just never know...could be a guy like me standing on their face as you "instruct" them.....

You, of course, have no way of knowing about the legislation I helped originate which was signed into law or the MANY other undertakings I have been a party to which benefit ALL Veterans. Oh, and a guy from my high school graduating class was AT Kent State when the deal went down.

I'll be thinking of you. You, in fact, inspired me to make the effort to go to D.C. Thank you for that, I do admire you for being there.

We need you in N.C., give 'em heck, and bring along your buddy to help, the chicken munching PETA fan.

I still laugh every time I see those images of him munching chicken next to the BIG chicken (grin).

I think that there is a group organizing something to counter the SF hate march (San Francisco Voice for Israel and SF PW)

Some claim it stands for Every One Drinks, but actually it stands for Explosive Ordnance Disposal. We are the guys that disarm the IED's, unexploded bombs, and other stuff we can sell as souvenirs to the infantry or on the black market.
