Thanks for posting these pictures.

I'm double celebrating this weekend...

1. My son, a Marine, came back home from Iraq, Tuesday morning!!

2. Seeing all these Patriots in DC standing up to the creeps!!

Catherine Herridge just reported a few minutes ago that 222 of the moonbats were arrested last night for misbehaving

I'm not sure if they've done
it in the US yet, but they have
in France, the UK and other
countries to deal with large
groups of soccer hooligans
who were coordinating strret
battles between rival groups.
France i *think* was using the
tactics during their riots,
as the street "kids" were
using them to coordinate
their attacks, and avoidance
of the gendarmes.

This one looks like a Civil War battle scene.

Come to think of it, it is. The Reds, with yellow sign (perfect color for the Cut and Run crowd), against ranks of Patriots with American flags. Looks like our side is about to flank the Traitors.

Jeff is there and is taking photos with his cell phone and posting them. Fantastic shot about 12:30 of a patriotic Eagle!

Wish we could get all these threads coordinated.

ONSITE REPORT FROM KRISTINN:

Patriots were spread in three different areas; Constitution Gardens, Lincoln Memorial and at the Wall. He reports Constitution Gardens is rated to hold 10,000 and they had the place FILLED! Don't know if that means they were spread out or packed in though so the Patriots easily had a few thousand for the rally presentation.

The crowd has dispersed to occupy the three FReep locations along the Commie Death March route to the Pentagon and I imagine they will be giving the Moonbats an earfull.

Consider this: nothing like this has ever happened before. The commies have never seen a sizeable opposition to their anti-victory protests now or during Vietnam. That all changed today and I'm not quite sure how they'll react now that the sleeping giant has been awakened.

Kristinn also reports that even during the sleet there wer about 60 FReepers at Walter Reed last night. Keep an eye out for that AAR

EAGLES AND FREEPERS UP!!!

"My son, a Marine, came back from Iraq, Tuesday morning"

Congratulations! Please give your son a hug for everyone of us, tell him we owe him more than we can ever repay for his service and that of his buddies. Hope he is enjoying these photos.

I can see your smile from here!!! A few tears there, too.

God Bless all our troops and our veterans. They are standing tall at the Wall today!

The reporter said that the cops seemed to be particularly nervous for this protest.

They shouldn't be. A lot of those GOE guys look like they could do crowd control all by themselves.

"I'm not sure I'm in support of the war," said William "Skip" Publicover of Charleston, South Carolina, who was a swift boat gunner in Vietnam and lost two friends whose names are etched on the memorial's wall.

These are the comments of one person at the Gathering of Eagles location. CNN calls it a counterdemonstration. A "news" channel would of course want to be fair and balanced. Did I say news? /s

Thank you for the report! Glad you/he got thru to each other.

Funny looking at the crowd & color in the one pix.. the noonbats colors are full of 'fun' rainbow/clown appearance, aren't they?

Nice for a 4 year old's birthday party!

Our colors represent our values.. Red/white/blue

"how the heck did you get thru to K? I tried both numbers & no answer & mailbox full."

I ran into the same problem so I sent him a TEXT. I also asked FReeper Angelwood to have him call me.

I would dearly love to have seen the looks and the Commies faces when they saw all the Patriots and bikers HeHeHe!

This is what has me so thrilled about this. We just let them take over last time, not realizing (at least I certainly didn't) what the affect would be. That is a lesson well learned and obviously not forgotten.

I'm sitting here with a bad leg and can't make it to the demonstration. However, I think I have my wife and daughter persuaded to join the Walter Reed party on Friday.

My prayers are out there that there be no unnecessary violence, and the antiwar movement not try this again. This isn't 1971.

All notations for this should be under the headline:

"The Day Everything Changed: America Strikes Back!"

Let's throw some liberal hyperbole right back at them...
