Rush Limbaugh: It's All About the Clintons and '08 (80% chance HRC pres)
Rush Limbaugh ^ | April 16, 2007 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 04/16/2007 11:59:05 PM PDT by FairOpinion

But we're gearing up for this election, and if you don't think that in the Drive-By Media and the Democrat Party, if you don't think 2008 is all about the Clintons getting back in the White House, you've got another thing coming. I'm going to tell you as we sit here today, there is an 80% chance that Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States, if you look at the way things are falling out right now. They're trying to take out Rudy Giuliani. Guess what? Rudy's a "draft dodger" now. Did you see the story over the weekend? Well, Clinton was a draft dodger so they got Rudy. Rudy's a draft dodger. Whatever was said about Clinton, they're going after it. Rudy is a draft dodger. Rudy is a philanderer.

Whatever it is, they're doing everything they can to take Rudy out.

But I'm telling you, I know the Clinton machine. If you think they are seriously worried about somebody with as little experience as Obama has in these kinds of things, then you're falling for it.

You're being sucked in for all this. There is an 80% chance this woman is going to be next president, as things sit here today. In politics, everything can change, and it can change on a moment's notice.

It's also about making sure that if Mrs. Clinton wins and so forth, that there won't be an alternative media. Hello, Fairness Doctrine. Hello, all of these things to just squelch it. They don't want to hear it. They want to go back to their monopoly days. That's what this is all about.

Total protection of the press in interviews and all the debates would be the only way she can get close to winning the Presidency.

they’ll put her in if they have to rub out every freaking barista that ever sold them a latte, for knowing too much.

Unfortunately, he might be right. GW and the GOP Congress has been such a disappointment to this nation, including many of us loyal Republicans; I’m afraid the stage is set for another Dem President and probably another Clinton.

GOD, HELP US.

Ironic.... Whenever the Clintons are running for office, the battle turns dirty. Really, really dirty.

If the citizens of this declining republic are stupid enough to elect this she-btch there will indeed be hell to pay.

>>If the citizens of this declining republic are stupid enough to elect this she-btch there will indeed be hell to pay.<<

I just don’t see how she’s going to be elected. And you put it succinctly. That’s the way a lot of Americans see her. She’s not a likeable person, and it’s obvious she’s a power-hungry, ego-maniac. Her negative rating is almost as high as her favorable rating, which means she has as many people voting against her as for her. I don’t think that’s the stuff presidential elections are made of, but this is Rush talking...

I think Rush has his ear to the ground and if he thinks she has such a good chance of winning (read pay-offs, graft, threats, etc), it sickens me.

And it will probably kill this country.

She’s the only reason I’d vote for the pro abortion gun grabber that’s claiming to be a Republican. Hope it doesn’t come down to that. Even my liberal friends won’t vote for her.

I just don’t see how she’s going to be elected.

Two words: Vote fraud.

Three to five percent of the ballots cast in the last presidential election were fraudulent, almost exclusively (as in greater than 99%) for the Democrat ticket.

Without massive and intrusive changes to our voting system, such as a mandatory requirement for a government issued photo ID checked against the voter registration rolls before a ballot is issued and an exhasutive and complete paper trail for every ballot cast, up to 10% of the ballots cast in 2008 will be fraudulent, almost exclusively Democrat, and they will carry the day for Hillary.

“but this is Rush talking...”

Majah Rushie was wrong about the last elections remember? So let’s hope he’s wrong about the next one too.

I don’t think her chances are nearly that high. She still has very high negatives and she’s one of the few people that will really motivate the GOP.

If Gore runs as a Green it will really do her in. Just like Perot only the other party...

Geez, the media is going to love taking this one out of context. Rush was talking about ‘right now’. The election is in 15 months or so. Right now, is not an meangingful time to be 80% electable.

With no GOP leadership, its fortunate that it would ONLY be an 80% chance of Hitlery winning! Without the White House or a leading candidate, parties tend to be listless. And we still don’t have a candidate who is getting anything close to a majority of the party. Fortunately its spring ‘07 and not fall ‘08.

She may not even need the standard Clinton corruption.

Consider history:

1. The rise of the culture of celebrity politics; she could beat everyone including Rudy after she drags his reputation through the MSM swamp (and sorry, but Fred is a minor league bore in this domain)
2. The charm of dynastic politics in America ever since JFK. Vico’s cyclical theory of historical evolution has proven itself right for the past several centuries; move over, Harry Seldon.
3. The tendency of the sheeple to try to maintain balance by awarding prizes to the “out party” in alternating electoral cycles
4. The likelihood of a cyclical economic downturn in the next twelve months (happens toward the end of every recent two-term presidency) and the rise of the “it’s the economy stupid” factor.
5. The big picture: the exhaustion of Empire, as the mob grows tired of giving up its freebies in order to resist the barbarians at the gates.
6. Her victory would mark the end point of the swing of the cultural pendulum towards a feminist value system.

The Dims are terrified of Rudy. They're desperate and don't know how to deal with a candidate like Rudy, so they try and smear him and trick voters into hating him.

If Rudy is the best candidate who can keep Her Heinous, Queen Hillary from claiming her throne, so be it.

Stop the insanity now!

And you do not know that Bill Clinton is a draft dodger and did have a felon on his head until President Coward Carter gave him a pardon.

I can provide the DOD numbers if you want to check it out.

So that's an absolute guarantee she at least gets close - you know those things will happen.

I am seriously waiting to see how she handles Obama. Will she add him to the ticket? or Is that reserved for Bill Richardson? Either way...Obama is NOT and will NEVER be President of this country. What an empty suit with 29% in the polls currently....I am more fascinated with what the Clintons have in store for him.

No way in hell Rush is right here. There isn’t a single soul I know who likes Hillary...nevermind wants her for President.

The stage is set for Clinton—except for one person: Rudy. He defeats her by winning key blue and purple states. Right now he’s ahead in NJ, PA, RI, FL, MI, and is competitive in CA. He runs neck-and-neck in OH and would probably take OR and CT. Factor in the mountain states and the South and we win. No second-string Republican polls this well and all would lose against her except Rudy—which is why the media is trying to take him out early.
