Words fail me. They’re going to nail the TROOPER for not making a 60 year-old GROWN MAN put his seatbelt on? Oh, no, it’s not CORZINE’S fault, it’s the TROOPER’S fault.
To: SmithL
"State Trooper Robert Rasinski, 34, has also come under scrutiny for allowing the governor ride without a seat belt"How about doing 90 mph? Sheesh. In any event, he can still cite the governor but that would probably be "scrutinized" too.

Then the fog clears and you see the coverup.

Sounds like Corzine had a false sense of security or was in denial that he could ever be injured. Kinda like some idiots feel about the Islamo-fascist threat. Stupid, dangerous mind set. But we suffer for their putting their power over what is best for our country.

Here in California the former disgraced governor Gray Davis was traveling over 100mph when a CHP officer tried to pull him over. The officer was told to move along.

Corzine's driver, State Trooper Robert Rasinski, 34, has also come under scrutiny for allowing the governor ride without a seat belt isn't the governor a grown-up?
To: eureka!
What’s wrong with doing 90 mph? Last week, I did 180 kph (112 mph) in a van, with my entire family in it.
We escaped unscathed.
If it hadn’t been a POS rental, I am sure I could have done 150 mph.

I remember that. Also, Grayout used to use the CHP copter all the time (as does Corzine but it was overcast the day of the accident). As rats, they pretty much get a pass though...

Rasinski, who has been part of the state police executive protection unit for a year and is in his eighth year as a trooper, had two prior accidents on the job. One accident, in which he slid on an icy road and hit a guard rail, was deemed preventable, according to New Jersey State Police Capt.
And they assigned him to drive the Governor??
