With the proposal today by Sen. Robert Byrd to "de-authorize" the authorization to go to war in Iraq, writers of Democartic Party satire have reached a point of crisis. We interviewed a Mr. X (whom I know personally) who occasionally writes satire which is posted on FreeRepublic.com for his reaction to todays authorization de-authorization address.
Mr. X said, "It's amazing, no matter how much we try and write ridiculous but believeable things regarding the Democratic Party and their leadership, the Dems always seem to out-do us in the realm of real life. Had I written satire a week ago regarding a de-authorization, it would have been within the realm of possibility, but today, it would have come true. We simply run out of ideas when the Democrat Party is so good at making fools of themselves with no help from anyone else".
Mr. X continued, "From Pelosi, to Gore, to Reid, to Byrd and those in between, we've tried to make people laugh at some of the satire we've written. We've had people actually believing what we wrote was real because it was as close to how Dems would normally react that made the satire believeable. But today, the Dems have even out-done themselves."
Mr. X vowed to continue on however, stating, "It's a long difficult road making fun of people who need no help, but we must, somehow, overcome the obstacles and find the road forward".
Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb, and Quasimodo were all talking one day. Sleeping Beauty said, “I believe myself to be the most beautiful girl in the world.” Tom Thumb said, “I must be the smallest person in the world.” Quasimodo said, “I absolutely have to be the ugliest person in the world.”
So they all decided to go to the Guinness Book of World Records to have their claims verified.
Sleeping Beauty went in first and came out looking deliriously happy. “It’s official, I AM the most beautiful girl in the world.” Tom Thumb went next and emerged triumphant, “I am now officially the smallest person in the world.” Sometime later, Quasimodo comes out looking utterly confused and says,
“Who the #$%@? is Rosie O’Donnell ?
Scrappleface has nothing on the Dem’s.
I think this is why liberal humor, like the Daily Show/Lewis Black, Etc. isn’t funny: they have to distort what conservatives or Republicans believe (for the most part, who was that cry-baby GOPer from last year? OMG! But of course the libs don’t lampoon him but I digress) but to do satire of what Democratics and liberals and progressives and DUmmies believe, you just have to quote them.
That's why when these people start making their moronic statement I have to check if the source isn't something like Scrappleface.
You just can't make this stuff up!
Nancy Pelosi today demanded a timetable for withdrawing from this satirization quagmire. Said Pelosi, “Our party is exhausted from reading Freep posts and finding ways to outdo the satirical ones with real life action. Valuable time and resources are being wasted in this effort that would better be spent in ruining—I mean running the country! If Freepers are not prepared to offer an exit strategy, we will draft one for them! Mr. President, tear down that border fence you haven’t built yet! A house divided against itself cannot stand! We cannot long endure with some congresspersons Republicans and others Democrats! Either you are with us or with the American people! SQAUWK! SQUAWK! ARF! ARF! MEOW! QUACK! MOOOOOOO! WEEEOOO! WEEEOOO! Tax the rich! Global—GHAK!” Ms. Pelosi would have elaborated further, but she choked on her own venom and bile, and had to be rushed to an expensive private hospital.

The Demos are proving to everyone that they are not capable of governing. I really don’t know what their role will be in the future, but I don’t see then holding onto Congress for very long and the Presidency should fall mostly to the Pubbies over the next 20 years or so.
This current group of leaders, Pelosi and Reid are simply the worst I have ever seen. Just awful. I know that we tend to complain about our leaders but the Demo’s leaders are seem to be ...leftovers.
I fear they might outdo even that tomorrow morning before breakfast, though.
Unfortunately, while the Dems are every bit as bad as you say they are, the Repubs are so bad that they actually lost last fall to these bizzaros.
