Red Dawn scenario

Posted on 05/10/2007 2:57:33 PM PDT by wastedyears

Don't know how many people have seen this movie, but what are your thoughts on something like it happening? If so, who would be involved? Also, how easy or hard would it be to fight them back, taking into consideration their manpower?

The Japanese knew it was hopeless. One of their generals said, “Behind every blade of grass would be an American with their rifle.”

They were referring to the fact that we are a well-armed militia with our right to bear arms.

Pretty formidible to foreign enemies, the thought that there are as many guns as people in the US.

If you REALLY want to know how we will lose the country, I'll tell you. Then I'll tell you how we get it back, and what kind of world it will be.

Just ask...

I think the scenario in The Army of the 12 Monkees is more likely.

Was that the movie with Bruce Willis? That was the most bizarre, depressing thing I've ever seen in my life.

They are not very good marksman 'cept for one guy and the other in the tank.

If you can see your target, you should be able to hit it.

“Most of the precursor stuff (shown in yellow text at the very beginning of the movie) has already happened (Mexicans fleeing their country, Greens taking over Europe, etc.) and I don’t think it has moved us that much closer to armed invasion.”

We’ve already been invaded by millions of military age men from other countries and are living and working here now. all that has to happen is for the Mexican truckers to start bringing their weapons to them.

In the state of Pennsylvania alone, on the first day of hunting, the number of armed hunters in the woods is greater than all the armies in Europe. Besides,, why invade when you can just get Democrats in power.

Why would they try to invade us, they have control of the US House and Senate already.

I read somewhere that the Soviet Union had studied ways to bring about a “red dawn” scenario but could not get beyond the fact that so many private citizens are armed.

Yes it was Bruce and yes it was depressing but I like it for some absurd reason. I’ve seen it 3 times and would watch it again.

I love the premise but it still bugs me that the world of Jericho is still so gentle - the way they’ve handled themselves, everyone but Robert Hawkins is too stupid to deserve to live.

Interstingly there was a prophecy from a woman n Bayside NY that the Chinese would invade the US by using a port in SoCal and through Mexico. The Curch has never endorsed these prophecies but I found this one at least to be credible.

For supply, they could probably travel from wallmart to Costco all across the US.

And bimbos going to jail.

And dying blonds.

And murderers getting jury nullification.

And nappy headed Imus talk.

And 24/7 devastating weather babes.

And 405 Freeway police chases.

And ad nauseum.........

A more likely scenarion is massive civil unrest from the barbarian hordes that we’ve allowed across the border. In the course of these events the cops and NG are ordered to arrest and / or disarm anyone who DARES defend themselves, their property, their community, or their nation.

If you’re lookin’ for a foreign enemy military, the add UN troops invited in for “pacification” and “peacekeeping.”

Bingo.

The barbarians will form "no go" enclaves and parallel societies, like the banlieues in France and certain areas in the north and midlands in Britain.

People outside the enclaves will resist the depredations of the barbarians, but the socialist government in Washington will be dependent on the support of the barbarians for their political power, and will identify more with trasnational socialist elites than with their own people.

The government in that situation would likely need to resort to foreign forces in order to suppress the native resistance.

But he just caved on "dirty dancing" and let that take over. Where was he then, huh?

Next thing you know, he's dead and having to make out with Demi Moore through Whoopie Goldberg.
