Why is the Politicians, that are suppose to be protecting our country, and economy, selling the United States out? Why would they choose to hand over our American rights, to 12 million illegal immigrants, that are doing nothing but committing crimes, ruining neighborhoods, taking jobs, and stealing government and American benefits. It makes no sense, but what does make sense is that the people who are in office were put there by us. These same people that are suppose to be listening to us, the American People. The only way for them to understand that we do not want the illegal immigrants in this country, is for all of them to be replaced, lose their jobs now, and replaced by real Americans, that have the best interest of the country at hand!
Americans should demand for the resignation of every person, politician who wants this bill passed. Because obviously these people are not concerned or care about this country!
can we block this bill? Can we demand that the immigration issue/bill be voted on by only us, American citizens?
This has set off a firestorm with our fellow Republicans. I look forward to how this issue will effect the Republican Presidential race. McCain was counting on us forgetting about all his funny business in the first half of 2006. In a way it reminds me of Feingold forcing all the other Senate Democrats running for president to vote for surrender, something that will haunt them next year. In this case McCain is in for some well deserved heat right now.

I think you answered your own question. I went to bed last night pondering why George Bush selected Cheney a Vice-President that had no intentions of carrying on the Republican agenda for a run to be President. Furthermore, I find it interesting that the Administration has really done nothing to put a person forth. After yesterday I am wondering if this is intentional and openly recognizes there is no difference anymore between parties. Or the desire of the powers that be -- is to have there be no difference! It is all very depressing to me.
Since the Hispanics became the fastest growing voter block in the country. With the last two Presidential elections being photo finishes, both sides are trying to out do each other in pandering for their votes. This bill still has a long way to go to getting passed, but you can bet the perceived bipartisanship will be short lived.

They sell you out the minute they get elected and head off to Washington. Once there, they pull a 180 degree turn on the people who got them into office. I’m convinced they are all lower than used car salesmen and lawyers. How can this stupid amnesty bill be called a compromise? It’s a complete sell out of the country to third world status. Big business will get the cheap labor they want and the democrats will get the socialist votes they want to pass all there big buck socialist programs. The middle class will no longer exist. The country will be made up of 60 million tree trimmers and 100,000 fat cat socialists living in their guarded (Kennedy like) coumpounds.
