President Bush unveiled the newly renovated White House Situation Room today and welcomed volunteers and disabled veterans to the White House.

The president and first lady left Washington this afternoon for a party fundraiser in Virginia. They will be spending the weekend at their home in Crawford, Texas.

They throw the troublemakers off here and they should be throwing them off other threads.

I know ... but in the mods' defense, that's probably next to impossible.

I wish the entire site was like Sanity Island.

Why should it be impossible??? There is an abuse button. If someone hits it and the mods fine that person is being abusive boot him.

...lately it started to lock up my computer and I would have to re-boot. Really? Oh no, hope that doesn't happen to mine. That's what the glitter text sites would do to my computer though. I need to just save the ones I like and purge the site from my bar, but I do love going to see what they have that's new. :)

There is an abuse button.

Yeah, but what you or I consider abuse might be acceptable on other threads, especially if those threads are filled with posters that are in agreement with each other.

The "no personal attacks" and the "no stalking" rules should be enforced though. I don't know why they aren't.

I read that ilovew had been banned, too! Does anyone know what THAT was about? Things are getting downright crazy around here.

Personally I think we should come up with secret code words and use them on the nutters...then they would be so confused by our vocabulary that they might just up and leave..:) You know like “your fack is so red you need baby butt busters!

The personal attacks and the name calling has been out of control for as long as I can remember. There is no excuse for it and should be harshly dealt with. If one doesn’t agree with some of the people on this forum then they are attacked.

I didn’t know she had been banned, but it was only a couple of days ago that I found out that Peach and Howlin got banned. That really surprised me. Wasn’t Howlin one of the ones that figured out that Rather used fake documents with the nat’l guard story? We really need to keep bloggers like that around.

As far as I know, ilovew was banned because she posted on that awful “Will FR embrace socialism” thread. She got into an argument with one or more of the thugs there, and that was that.
