Tony Snow has always been an open borders advocate. That's one of the reasons Bush picked him and one of the reasons I never thought he was as great as some here think.

Yes, if Tony Snow wants a future in talk radio, he needs to resign. He can believe the manure he’s shoveling. I know he’s a spokesman, who speaks for the President. If, IF this weak as water administration and their congressional enablers wanted to be serious about a fence/barrier/barrera, they would request that our good friend and ally Israel second an expert to our border to assess exactly what is needed to fulfill the needs of preventing infiltration of illegal aliens, drugs smugglers and potential terrorists, from our porous Southern border.

Checkpoints manned by a more militant BP/State Guard constructed in the Israeli mode would not be amiss.

Rather than not build a fence, pull the fence back so it encircles the city from the American side, cede the territory to Mexico rather than leave a gaping hole in the fence. That, or divide the city in two with a fence.
