The same way we can explain a similar phenomenon in Western Europe, in which the first generation of Muslim immigrants is far less radical and far more assimilated than the second generation thereof and its European-born descendants.
I had a very dear friend living in England, and when she decided to visit the United States, I was thrilled.
When her Visa ran out, she snuck into Canada and hid there for about a year until the Government tracked her down.
Out of desperation, she crossed the border into Minnesota and begged me to hid her.
I turned my friend over to Immigration, for violating our laws.
Sorry, but even a personal friend is not allowed to become an illegal alien, and that had NOTHING to do with race.
BTW, my son-in-law is a LEGAL alien and has always obeyed our laws. For him, I will do everything possible to help, as he follows our legal system to become a citizen.

My greatgrandparents didn’t get food stamps, social security, welfare, paid hospital visits and free everything else.
In fact, they never expected anything other than becoming citizens and paying their own way.

Every citizen and legal immigrant is allowed to apply for a Z-Visa on an equal basis as the illegals. This means they can select two out of five years to get all of their taxes refunded with interest and reimbusement with interest of all their fees and travel costs paid to get their papers in order for legal immigration status. They would be exempt from paying the fines because they did it legally in the first place, but they would be entitled to all the other benefits of a Z-Visa.
Are our overlords willing to try this experiment just so citizens and legal immigrants can be put on an equal playing field with the illegal immigrants?

This is an old tired argument also. We don't need to round up illegals, we merely need to shut off the reason they are here, I.E.: JOBS and WELFARE. If we deny them medical care, schools, welfare, jobs etc. they will deport themselves. First we have to enforce our existing laws and make sure we jail employers who hire illegals. The only new laws we need are stiffer penalties for employers that hire illegals. I would say a 10 year jail sentence should put the fear of god into most of them.
One thing is true, if we don't make an effort we won't accomplish the job. Defeatist such as yourself are actually open border asshats.

Jeez, if you think about the huge number (20M+) of aliens in this country and the very real popssibilty of another 9/11, and the subsequent martial law implications , you would see the problem with this AMNESTY!
