Should Bush Form a Third Party?
vanity | 6-8-07 | brianbaldwin

Ted Party-boat Kennedy announced this afternoon they aren’t givin’ up – he’s handing out beanies from his boat to “da Boyz” and they are going to rally with Lindsey Grahamnesty, George Buffalo Bush, and the Philadelphia lawyer Arlen Specter to revive this Limousine ride that has turned into an African Safari. Meanwhile, Bush is in a jeep going down a deserted highway without headlights in the African moonlight, driving into the darkness at seventy miles an hour on an eerie ride, as we are told by the Bushbots it is “silvery under the moonlight” to make is sound perhaps even romantic. But being the headlights are out there are those constant jars as George hits a tortoise now and then, and periodically the engine dies out and Bush is looking around saying “who’s gonna’ push?”, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone around to push.

"We are not giving up. We are not giving in," Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., told reporters after he got off the phone with Bush Senior, the “I’m quitting the NRA” Senior Bush who was on a cell phone call with Dubya who was side-lined at the G-8 with a sour stomach after he heard the “Immigration” Limousine Liberal Bill was now looking like a freeway car fire thanks in part to those crazy right-wingers that FOX News Bill O’Reilly has been complaining about of late. Senior Bush had called up junior Bush who was eating a meditative bowl of Mexican pinto beans to give him advice – “Stay open to a thumb suck”.

“When it is recognized by the American people that the Senate has not acted (on immigration), I believe there is going to be a wave of support for what we have been trying to do," said Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa. . .

Oh really? Is that what is going to happen?

Maybe what’s happening here is that the Republican base, who wants the Republican Party to live up to Republican principles, isn’t going to be joining any Third-Party after all. Instead, maybe what’s happening is the Republican base who wants the Republican Party to live up to Republican principles is going to lead the Republican Party rather than be led. And maybe the Bushbots don’t see it yet, but maybe the ones in trouble aren’t the right-wingers that Bill O’Reilly has been complaining about, but the Bushbot wing of the Republican Party is in trouble.

In fact, perhaps the best strategy of the Republican candidates for 2008, the winning strategy for 08, is sort of the same strategy of the Democratic candidates for 08 – and that is to run against George Bush and the Bushbots.

“But George Bush isn’t running in Oh-eight”, you say.

No, he isn’t running in Oh-eight, and the Republican base wants to make sure of that. They don’t want a Bushbot in a Lindsey Graham or any of the others, they don’t want Bush or his bots, no sir. And ANY Republican candidate who is going to run and thinks they are going to win needs to get the message out, “I’m NOT George Bush”.

And the best way to do that is to just say no to the Bush-Kennedy "Immigration" Mandarin bill.

And no, it’s not going to be the Republican base that needs to move on to a Third-Party. And, seriously, I think perhaps it’s time that George Bush, his entire family, the Bushbots, et all, consider forming or joining a Third-Party.

Forming a Third-Party, rather than joining an existing one, probably makes more sense in that all of the existing Third-Parties probably wouldn’t want them.

Bill O’Reilly may not like it, but what we are seeing is something historical – it started about twenty years ago and has been slowly but increasingly growing, and the Mandarins in the Republican Party such as the Bushbots et all, are now having to lay down their fingernail files and are starting to have the obvious signs of what can only be described as “culture shock”.

The Mandarins are starting to find themselves forced to be in the same “tent” as the Republican base, and it’s a real culture shock for them.

The Mandarins of the Qing Dynasty Republi-crats turn to the Mandarins of the Tang Dynasty Demo-cans, and say “My God, I would rather associate with the Tang Mandarins then them (the peasants)”.

What to eat. What car to drive. If you are “clean” enough to even drive a car. And the Mandarins not only want to tell you what to eat, they want to tell you that there are no borders anymore, there are only “estates”. Estates is where they are going to live.

Where are you going to live?

You know, perhaps someone should remind Arlen Specter, Ted Kennedy, Lindsey Graham, John Edwards, the Mandarins et all, the old saying, “The real measure of your wealth is how much you’d be worth if you lost all your money”.

Perhaps they can call their new Third-Party, the Mandarin Party.

And their mascot can be the Dodo bird.

Perhaps the “independent” Bill O’Reilly, who is now starting to grow his fingernails, can join the new Third-Party and be their press spokesperson, being that he believes he is the prophet and regrets but nevertheless in his wisdom had to support the “Immigration” Bill in that it’s our only choice anyway, I mean “what can we do?”, and no one is going to stop it, certainly not those crazy Right-wingers who according to Life With Bill are really nothing but a bunch of smear artists and don’t appreciate very long fingernails.

Arlen, you wouldn’t be worth any more than that Limousine that’s on fire under the hood. You turned off exit 49 out to Highway 61. I know, you are getting old and you made a mistake at exit 49, a senior moment perhaps. You got to get back to filing your fingernails. Oh my God, and you look around before you open the door to get out of the burning Limo, and look over there. There’s these little fires burning – lots of them – “out there”, and, it’s getting dark. Should you get out and kick the fires? Oh no, maybe not. Just stay in the burning Limousine. After all, it’s a Limo.

Yeah, let the pro-amnesty RINOs go off and form their own party — the Turd World Party.

Their logo...

I used to be accused of being a bushbot. And I probably was one. I defended his fiasco choice of HM for supremes. On the grounds of giving W the benefit of the doubt.

I took a little bit of shiite for saying it was a game of "old Maid."

I’ve given up trying to understand what people mean when they say neocon.

I don't blame you. You have so many self-styled political pundits redefining the term or worse; denying that there is such an animal or claiming that it applies merely to a half dozen New York intellectuals. It is the hallmark of liberals to run away from the labels that actually indicate where they stand. The neocons being liberal republicans do the same. As for Israel, I'm not a big supporter of foreign aid for anyone. Since that includes Israel, I have had to deal with charges of anti-Semitism for not wanting to carry water for those guys either.

I disagree with you on that one. I believe they are the ones carrying water for us. Canaries in a mineshaft, my friend. Canaries in a mineshaft.

Irving Kristol coined the term "NeoCon" to describe his views and that of other former liberal democrats. They did not want to be confused with small government conservatives, whom they detest.

Their preference is for a big, high-speeding, all-powerful national government with a powerful military that goes out into the world and forces other governments to bend to our will (nation-building).

They are essentially fascists but without the anti-Semitism. Being largely Jewish, they are big supporters of Israel

Fine. Let someone else feed the canary.

Here's a pretty good description of neoconservativism. It's Wikipedia, so I take it with a grain of salt, but it's interesting if you have doubts about what the word meant, which I did.

Not right now, please!

A Third Party (Perot) is what gave us eight ungodly years of the first Clinton! I can’t stomach even four more of his Bridezilla!

Rather like compromise; it’s not so much a word as it is an emotion. (death rattle)

George Bush = The democrats secret weapon.. most republicans are STILL in denial or oblivious about him.. American conservatives are on their way to becoming like Canadas conservatives.. Which are not conservatives at all..
