Got my $75 back from the RNC

Posted on 06/27/2007 6:45:25 PM PDT by WBL 1952

Called the RNC today and told them I wanted the last two years of contributions back. They said they would send the money I sent them just for the last 12 months - $75.

The first jerk hung up on me when I insisted I wanted at least two years $$ back so I had to call back.

I don't know if they are getting the message or not.

I've given money. When I give it, I generally relinquish the right to take it back. Just a thought.

Actually, that is not true. Pay with a credit card and you can reverse the charges, I believe, for up to 5 months later.

And if you paid with PayPal, the money comes out of their account instantly.

The is only one set of immigration laws that need to be enforced and that is the ones already on the books. We don’t need no more stinking laws to do what they already are ignoring.

Put up the damn border fence and stop the illegal entry. Then deal with all those that are already here.

Incredibly, liberals are now starting to say they want a completely open border. No fence, no nothing. Just come on in!

Heard Alan Combs say that on his raido show the other night.

I haven't gotten any solicitations from any Republican group since before the ShamNasty debacle, so I threw the last few away.

Wish I had saved a few for use now- they all come with handy SASE ( postage-paid return envelopes ) and I'd love to send them sheets of this, on their own dime...

We use it for flashing down here and I have some saved in the shop... it's really, really heavy...

"Did they tell you if it would be in dollars or pesos?"

Hmmm, maybe instead we all need to contribute to the RNC!

Just get a single 10 centavos coin and drop it in your RNC envelope!

10 Centavos

Think of the time and effort they would be wasting dealing with a couple hundred thousand envelopes that have what equals to less than a penny in monetary contributions in each envelope.

That would be funny and get the message across real good.

I haven’t given to them in a few years and will not again barring huge changes. With Mel, Mitch, and Jorge at the top of the party they won’t get a cent.

“. Bush-bashing runs rampant, and far too many people are actively trying to destroy any support for the Republican party. “

We didn’t turn on the party. The party has turned on us. Both in terms of policy and tone. Folks like Graham, Bush, and Lott have even directly insulted their base calling us things like bigots or people who don’t want whats best for America.

You are describing a payment for a good or service. Donations can generally be considered different. I give to the Salvation army guy outside of the strip mall every year. I couldn’t imagine going up to the guy (or girl) this year and demanding past donations back.

I have stopped suporting the respendican party and El Presidente Jorge. I will support individual conservatives but nothing for the open border rinos.

The answer is to promote conservative Republicans, but this forum is far more into punishing all Republicans, like that is somehow going to help.

There is plenty of support for good Republicans here. What is so bad about donating directly to them instead of the party? I would think that a candidate contribution would be spent more efficiently.

There are some very healthy "trees" in this forest but not nearly as many as there used to be.

There are also some cancers that have been removed from this site which should have been long ago. For instance, take a look at some of the "fair" opinions on any Fred Thompson lymphoma thread at that new site.

Only Christ could look into a person’s soul and determine if he was “good” or not. Are you him?

You would do far better to ask why you wish to put your thoughts behind others words that were not his than to post meaningless dribble about me.

Because I don't know what you are talking about.

But I also truly believe that this is NOT a “Bush’s fault” issue. Anyone who believes that is drinking liberal doses of Kool-aid.

You are way past the bushbot stage. You are in the never, never land mode.

But you do have a little problem with the truth.

It is Bush’s fault, and he is a traitor.

“cheap labor”

That is a leftist term which I do not accept in this debate.

I am more disturbed about the cultural and political implications of mass illegal immigration.

Please repost either the article or a link to it. Several of my friends want their money back, are eager to discover a way to so do, and their donations amount to a hefty five figures.

We promise to feel the RNC’s pain. ;-P

LOL!
Demands for refunds are really gonna rub their traitorous noses in the dirt. Obviously not all Republicans are traitors but it took all our might to head the back stabbers off at the pass
