“Salomon Ortiz, (D-Corpus) is against the wall,” Cascos said,

It's spelled SOLOMON, JOSÉ!

Um, the Iron Curtain mostly did work. It kept 99.9999999999995% of the people who wanted to leave the East in.

Sure, a few people did get around it, but not many. A wall or fence won’t completely stop the flow of illegals - but then we shouldn’t be building the wall by itself. We should support it with patrols and sentry guns - and even the wall by itself should greatly reduce the numbers of illegals.

. “China tried (built a wall) and it didn’t work.”

Is this a joke? China built a VERY effective wall that kept the animals at bay for hundreds of years.

OK. Build the fence north of them and call it a day.

Umm, actually the Berlin wall worked spectacularly well. Especially the tower gun turrets and the no-mans land areas on both sides. So well that only about 100 people made it across in roughly 40+ years.

I’d say our Mexico bordoer wall would be a raging success if we got these kind of stats.

Well, I guess if Jorge Martinez, Mario Garza, Carlos H. Cascos, and Salomon Ortiz are against the wall, then that settles it.

That was my stumbling block as well. From what I understand, China’s wall was pretty dang effective.

And yeah, definitely, build the wall to the north of them and call it a day. This march was so full of buffoons it makes be sick.

See tag.

Nuevo Mexico my friend. If it weren’t for the military base down in Corpus we’d have completely lost South Texas long ago.

As far as I can tell they have almost completely overrun everything up to and including San Antonio then northwest from there to the north of El Paso.

Basically we only really own about half the state now, thanks to the elite bumbling idiots both in Washington and in the state legislature.

Jorge Martinez, a [junior communication major] at the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College, said .... “It sends a bad message to the rest of the world,”

Jorge Martinez is sending a bad message to future employers who will Google his name and school.

You'd think a communication major would realize this.

The north side is still in pretty good shape, but you’re probably right. Of course it’s also overrun with socialists, communists and globalists, but who’s counting.

Who said Berlin wall didn’t work? It did prevent millions of East-Berliners to cross the line. Yes, of course there’s always some people who tried, and were succesful, but if the wall can halt half of the current flow from Mexico, it’s still better.

The reason these idiots don’t want a wall is because they are so close to the border. Crimmigration does not effect them as much as it does those a few hundred miles away from the border. Crimmigrants do not stop just inside the U.S., they try to get as far into the country as possible, the same as leaving the scene of the crime.
