Israelite priests hold first gathering since Temple era
Jews belonging to the Tribe of Levi, and particularly the Kohen clan, came together for a mass gathering in Jerusalem on Sunday. It was the first large-scale gathering of biblically-mandated Israelite priests since the time of the Second Temple.
The gathering included lectures and seminars on the history and future of the Temple, and culminated with all of the participants declaring the priestly blessing over Israel from the Western Wall.
Genetic research over the past several decades has succeeded in isolating a particular DNA signature shared by all members of the Tribe of Levi, making the reinstitution of Israel's priestly caste a relatively simple endeavor once the Temple is rebuilt.
Thank you. That is the information I was looking for.
Take this story with a big grain of salt. I've been hearing versions of this for 5 years on various end times radio shows and ministries. Also, supposedly they created all the gold utensils and what nots to furnish the entire Temple as per the Torah and further, have successfully bred a pure red cow (again as per Torah) to use in the first sacrifice.
Interesting!
“Sounds like its time for the Ethiopians to return the Ark of the Covenant” - any time would be a good time for that! i’d love to live to see that... and thanks for your service to our country.
I dunno. Usually when you hear multiple versions of the same sensationalistic story for a couple of years it gets an urban legend vibe to it. But, who knows?
The red heifer was disqualified because some white hairs were found on her. However, they are still trying.
The purpose of a pure red heifer is not to be the "first sacrifice" but to follow the Levitical rules for purification. Most people assume that what needs to be ritually purified is the Temple Mount, before the Third Temple can be built.
You may laugh at it, if you wish, but some groups take this very seriously. Namely the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful
Have you seen this?? Interesting times we’re in...
Thanks.
Will check it out.
You mean the Sanhedrion. The Septuagint is the ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible.
It wasn't really a Sanhedrion but a sort of "proto-Sanhedrion," and it is rejected by most Orthodox authorities. It is also unfortunately engaged in ecumenical and interfaith activities, which is strictly prohibited by Halakhah.

Here is the official site for rebuilding the Temple in Israel...
And here is a picture of the Third Temple Menorah, made of solid gold...

Did they bring some brooms to sweep that gold dome pile of crap off it?
Read this one, too.
It won't be long before the coming of Mashiach ben David. Come soon, Lord Jesus.
Be'ezrat HaShem
This is interesting.
The Kohen clan eh? Well “give my regarrds to Broadway,” and “I am on top of the world, ma!” Genetics can prove priestly lineage, a Sanhedrin is in place, some group has made temple intruments to exact Torah specifications and another group has a corner stone they have been trying to place on the Temple Mount for a couple of years only to be rebuffed by the Israelie government. It gets curiouser and curiouser I dare say!
I’m Jewish, and I have a sure fire response to liberals who say “all those Evangelical Christians only support Israel because they think that the Jews have to return to their ancient homeland in order for Jesus to return, and once Jesus returns, the Evangelicals will be laughing and whooping it up when the Jews get vaporized”.
Here’s what I tell’em.....”It’s very simple, the Messiah will come and the Jews will say ‘look, it’s the Messiah’, the Christians will say ‘look, Jesus is back, and the Jews just called him the Messiah, so they’re Christians now’. Nobody gets vaporized, everyone is happy, except the Muslim devil worshippers whose unfortunate fate is assured by G-d”.
Shuts ‘em up and scares the crap out of them EVERYTIME!
