"Men, this stuff that some sources sling around about America wanting out of this war, not wanting to fight, is a crock of bullshit. Americans love to fight, traditionally. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle. You are here today for three reasons. First, because you are here to defend your homes and your loved ones. Second, you are here for your own self respect, because you would not want to be anywhere else. Third, you are here because you are real men and all real men like to fight. When you, here, everyone of you, were kids, you all admired the champion marble player, the fastest runner, the toughest boxer, the big league ball players, and the All-American football players. My view is our media is full of commie SOBs. They would rather see us lose then win a war. Proved in Vietnam and now Iraq. Most of the lame stream media's writings are seditious. If they don't like hearing me say that, then don't give me a reason to say it.

We should be showing resolve to our friends, our enemy, and our Troops. Our politicians in Congress should not be making law that effects the execution of a war. This is how we lose wars. Hence, I will dare to say that a lot of the actions by members of our Congress is seditious. Again, traitors should not give me a reason.

The war is not lost. Hussein's dangerous regime has been removed. The Iraqi people are being helped up onto their feet so they can protect and govern themselves. And we lost 3,500 Troops in four years. We nearly lost 300,000 in four years of WWII. We have lost 3,500 precious soles, and millions have been freed in Iraq. If we make a friend and we do not turn the country over to the terrorist, we will be safer too.

This Congress and our press is a National Security risk. We need to show resolve and they are not doing it.

Many people who post here are doing so out of excitement about finding a community of mostly like minded people. They don’t know the ropes. Way too often the self-appointed thread police (such as yourself) swoop in to rain on their parade. We lose a fellow traveler. I think that’s worse than “wasting” bandwidth. If I’m wrong Jim will correct me.

Okay. Peace. Today I got an email from my brother, US Army captain on the DMZ in South Korea, lately from Iraq. He sent me a link to the “new” Patton speech. His link was to FR, and then to YouTube. I doubt his view was from the first post since it was from yesterday. I also doubt brother Steve has spent enough time on FR to learn the Search function, since he spends all his time worrying about the NK bastards 100 yards away. Somebody did him a favor making the modern General Patton easy to find, even if it wasn’t the first post.

Guess this is where I step in. I posted the first attempt, not finding it in my search. I have been here long enough to know the ropes.

Second, I turned it around as did not understand the response for locking. Therefore, I thought as it was more of non-news item;thus, I would find the original Patton Speech and add the “piece” disputed as a comment. That was my reason.

Also, you will see that the person who had posted this story, was respectful in drawing me to that fact and then contributed to the conversation.

Often, I see this same scenario appear on threads of others, also having done a search and perhaps not finding a duplicate. Also, as I cannot be on here 24/7 (I have a life) I may missed a story of interest and was glad to read a story reported more than once.

Sorry this thread has turned into a PI$$Y form of chat. I donate to FR, so do not feel I am wasting space. If I did this duplication all the time then, of course, would expect reprimand. I try to do research for my comments to add to a story. Check my history if you are bored sometime.

Twas, not intentional..so do not say it was intentional, was confused on why it was not accepted the first time.

Now, seems like someone enjoyed this piece. Take this subject title and "do a search" and note the number of reads and responses.
