This Army Ranger's words cut like a knife .. please God that some miraculous benevolence falls on the hearts of those cruel, partisan politicians.

If Demorats say they support our Troops, then they should be supporting victory. Do our Troops fight to lose? No. They fight to win. IF they support our Troops, then naturally they should support victory too.
My only criticism is the music. These things work so much better for me if they don’t try to force emotions with music—his words are more than enough.

I’ve listened to this carefully now, and I gotta ask: does anyone else wonder about whether this is the real oil, from a real Ranger on leave from Iraq?
I dunno about this one: the message is right: absolutely spot-on. But this guy is a Ranger? On leave? Seriously? Talking like that? If so, I smell whisky because Rangers don’t normally talk like that — I’ve listened to this clip over and over again, and there is something not quite right about it. Dunno what, it just doesn’t ping right.
But the message is right. Can’t disagree with it at all.
And the music didn’t help at all: it smelled like a *cheap* propaganda shot. Definitely we need to get the right side of the story told. But the music, combined with the over-the-top interview, somehow just didn’t work.
If I’m alone in observing this, fine. I support the message. I just wasn’t convinced by the delivery mechanism, that’s all.
Its a pledge that some folks base their life on.

Please don’t get me wrong: I agree with every word said by this guy.
I just don’t believe that a real Ranger phoned a radio talkshow and said these things. My bullshirt detector went off.
Listen to the sound clip again, carefully: the caller sounds like any drunk that I encounter in the streets all the time: not seriously drunk but certainly way, way beyond the legal limit for driving. It’s a rambling diatribe.
When he purports to be a Ranger, it sounds like an embellishment: I have no difficulty believing that he may have served in Iraq, either as a soldier or as a contractor. But Rangers just don’t talk like this. Not even with a skin-full of liquor under their belts. I have met a couple Rangers in my time, and generally they are most circumspect. Not like this.
OK so maybe that makes me skeptical — guilty as charged. The message is definitely right. But I’m not certain this particular message has the ring of truth that would give it Credibility.
Just my opinion.
I thank God this man’s message is out there. He DOES speak for our troops, unlike the dems and the press. And I think my husband (20 years in the military last month) would agree with me on that.

The only part about it that really made me skeptical was when the fellow said that "..he loved those people."
Haji, can cut hair, Haji can weave carpets, but largely Haji seems to impress Troops of my acquaintance that Haji is mostly a lazy bum.
I still support the War effort, and the Media in our Country is full of subversives with an insane agenda!
