Yet, left-wing activists have been engaged in a fierce campaign to undermine the war effort. No news there, but what is alarming is the degree to which they are organized, funded, and orchestrated. Jon Soltz has emerged to become the front man in their campaign to betray our troops and force them to declare defeat in Iraq.
On Wednesday, Move America Forward Vice Chairman, Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson (USAF, Ret.) confronted Soltz on his political activism at the same time he is serving in the reserves – a violation of the U.S. Military's Uniform Code of Military Justice.
As captured in a video from MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, Soltz screamed, yelled and literally stuck his tongue in the side of his cheek in discomfort as he realized that Colonel Patterson had busted Soltz for improper conduct.
Jon Soltz is acting like a cockroach, frantically scurrying from the spotlight of truth that's shining on him.

Their hatred is most vile when it views the Iraqi people striving to free themselves from the bondage of barbarian tyranny. In their thinking, the people of Iraq deserve no assistance and no protection from those who kill innocent human beings in the quest for power.

Soltz is a liar and fraud—he will not even answer the question about whether he wants to see us win in Iraq. That to me says it all to me as far as this creep is concerned.
Notice how quickly Mathews ended the discussion as soon as the Colonel asked about him still being on the military's payroll. And what is it with these leftists that cannot have an honest debate without talking all over the other person. No dissent allowed. Yes, sounds like socialism/communism to me.
Patterson was great! I hope he keeps getting face time with these pansies.

The part about still receiving a pay check was never answered. If he is not , he probably is in the inactive reserves, which means he does not go to monthly drills.
If he is receiving a pay check then he is in a specific Guard or Reserve unit. He states that he is a Captain, so he could possibly be a Company Commander. As a former Guardsman, I find his behavior very divisive to any unit he may be assigned to.
I think he is still active and that is why he would not answer the question and why Mathews ended the discussion. I have been reading a little about him on the blogs and there was much discussion about how hypocritical it was of him to berate the soldier in uniform at the KOS convention when he himself is still active. I agree 100% that his behavior is very divisive. And let me thank you for your service to our great nation!

By active I assume you mean that he is a drilling reservist. It is an interesting position to be in. My favorite congressional candidate this year is Duane Duncan Hunter, who is simultaneously running for congress and will be deployed to Afghanistan. I’m hoping he will win the primary!
