If he’s negotiating a deal, not necessarily.

Will the NFL formally sever all connection with him if he pleads guilty?

A few months in federal prison, a fine, and community service for animal-rights organizations, IMO.

NFL might suspend him for the first 4 games or something.

He may take a deal and never have to plead guilty.
PETA will go nuts.

"NFL might suspend him for the first 4 games or something."

I hope they suspend him for the rest of his life.

I would take my chances against one of Vick’s dogs before I would take on government lawyers.

It’s intertesting that Vick never - NEVER - asserted his innocence.

BTW: 90% of people indicted by the Fed plea out; Of the remaining 5%, 95% of them are found guilty. I guess Vick figured if he went to trial he’s be “kissing the baby god-bye.”

One can only hope that Vick does hard time (making little rocks into sand). Anything less will be an insult.

PETA will go nuts.

Yes, especially with it happening so close to their National Headquarters. That may well be worth the investment in popcorn, beer, and cigars.

If he’s guilty, the punishment needs to fit the crime. Train him to engage in a violent, destructive sport full-time, and...

Oh, never mind.

I have no doubt he is negotiating a plea bargain. The longer it takes, the less he’ll get from the Feds.

They know they’ve got him, he knows they’ve got him.

And any plea will require he not only admit guilt, but he will have to detail in open court exactly what he did.

And that will ensure he’ll never step on an NFL field again in my opinion.

We’ll see.

Unfortunately it’ll never happen. If Ray Lewis can get away with murder and still play, then they’re going to let Vick play. At the most he’ll be banned for the season but he’ll be back on the field though.
