Violent crime along the U.S.-Mexico border, which has long plagued the scrubby, often desolate stretch, is increasingly spilling northward into the cities of the American Southwest.
In Phoenix, deputies are working the unsolved case of 13 border crossers who were kidnapped and executed in the desert. In Dallas, nearly two dozen high school students have died in the last two years from overdoses of a $2-a-hit Mexican fad drug called "cheese heroin."
The crime surge, most acute in Texas and Arizona, is fueled by a gritty drug war in Mexico that includes hostages being held in stash houses, daylight gun battles claiming innocent lives, and teenage hit men for the Mexican cartels. Shipments of narcotics and vans carrying illegal workers on U.S. highways are being hijacked by rival cartels fighting over the lucrative smuggling routes. Fires are being set in national forests to divert police.
In Southern California, Border Patrol agents routinely encounter smugglers driving immigrant-laden cars who try to escape by driving the wrong way on busy freeways. And stash houses packed with dozens of illegal immigrants have been discovered in Los Angeles. [snip]
But a huge U.S. law enforcement buildup along the border that started a decade ago has helped stabilize border-related crime rates on the California side; a recent wave of kidnappings in Tijuana has been largely contained south of the border.
The sprawling border has been crisscrossed for years by the poor seeking work and by drug dealers in the hunt for U.S. dollars. For decades neither the United States nor Mexico has managed to halt the immigrants and narcotics pushing north. But with the Mexican government's newly pledged war on the cartels, and an explosion of violence among rival networks, a new crime dynamic is emerging: The violence that has hit Mexican border towns....

Thank you Jorge
And “WHOREALDO” thinks that this is not a war, B_SH_t!
WHOREALDO is looking for ratings, we are looking for the US of A.
“For decades neither the United States nor Mexico has managed to halt the immigrants and narcotics pushing north.”
Hard to “halt” any of this when the President has openly told Mexicans “just doing jobs Americans won’t do” come on in, the waters fine.....................................
and then making sure the borders were wide open.
What a pathetic joke!!
More Americans killed by illegal aliens than Iraq war, study says
When you start digging into the numbers the only ones that can be sourced with the feds are the number of American murdered in 2005: 16692
I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.
Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.
Wanted for Murder in New York City.
Chicago wanted for Murder
Philadelphia wanted for murder
San Francisco wanted for Murder
New Orleans wanted for Murder
Pictures of suspects wanted for murder in Washington DC
FBI USA 10 most wanted. (two of 10 are Mexican nationals)
There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.
Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article.
All that said, it could be argued that if you include the number of illegals in state and local prisons the number of illegals in jail shrinks to 6% of the total prison population. Never the less if you multiply 16692 (the number of americans murdered in 2005) * .06 (illegal alien percent of total prison population) * 4 (the number of years the US has been in Iraq). The result is that more americans (4006) have been killed by illegals than have been killed in the Iraq war.
This point needs to be hammered home. Just as the liberals have hammered home the point about americans killed in Iraq.
To look at other USA cities go here http://stlouis.fbi.gov/ and replace stlouis with the city you want.
On the news in Phoenix tonight [Saturday], they reported a dead body and two illegal immigrants hiding in the closet. They showed a picture of the stash house and it was a newer and larger house than mine.
This type of event is occurring quite frequently. I would guess at least once a week.
I was surprised that the newscast referred to the parties as “illegal immigrants” several times.
Fortunately, we have a Maricopa county sheriff, Joe Arpaio, who has a policy of working with ICE to stop smuggling operations. Joe has even started a phone line where people can leave tips for the police. Unlike the police officials[sic] in Newark, Joe does not believe that the citizenship of miscreants is “irrelevant”.
If you don’t have borders, you don’t have a country.
What a pathetic joke this has become...
Now we will have 18 wheelers packing the illegals into the norte are record speed. Thank you Bush.
((((((((((((USA))))))))))))) ?
Where is ((((((((((((((yorkie))))))))))))) ?
((((((((((((USA))))))))))))) ?
It is time to scream USA,USA,USA. We have lost so much withing the last 5 or 6 years. This week our sovereignty will be gone and all the while Bush and family will be in guarded homes with fences, virtual fences with body guards for the family. I guess there should be a question mark after the USA. Bush is doing his dirty work while Congress is in recess. He is such a coward and afraid he will get beat on the SPP if the American taxpayer had any say in its implementation. So he does it on vacation.
BUMP
I apologize, tex. That was a dumb thing to post - it is just so much to take in 24/7, and I had no right to make ‘light’ of it. You are right.
Hey, I don’t take things personally. I am just down (somewhat depressed) this week knowing the SPP meeting is when Congress is on vacation. Also, starting the Mexican trucks on our highways when Congress is on vacation. We actually have to recourse but just to shut up and take it.
What really has be upset about this socialism, is what I don’t know that will be implemented behind our backs.
Clinton and Carter never bothered me like Bush and Bush does.
We actually have no recourse...
I know.....me, too. I keep hoping that we can all come together, here, with a solution to preserve our sovereignty.......
“We actually have no recourse...”
When it comes to effective border security, we do!
Duncan Hunter will have it done in 6 months.
And when it comes to the illegal aliens already here...NO AMNESTY...he says, “they must go home”.
Why don’t the border states do anything about this?
I guess I need to go to bed as I am frustrated. I am for Duncan Hunter. He is the best. However, to be quite honest all we have had from Congress for the last 5 or 6 years is yakity, yak. In other words, nothing.
Bush and Mexico are slowly but surely getting the whole enchilada piece by piece. Even the girl who has been hiding in the church for the last year is slapping us all in the face out in the open. She is going to Washington and nothing will be done about it. In other words f—— the laws of this land. Again another travesty done during the Bush vacation.
