“L. Ron” ????
What the heck is L Ron?
L.Ron Paul, cult leader.
Oh, my bad. I didn’t realize that ya’ll conservatives dealt with facts and libs like me dealt with feelings. Oh, well...back to DU with me I guess...
Or, Fred is correct when he said that folks are just starting to pay attention... FDT is doing and will continue to do a solid job of letting the voter know what he is all about. Looking forward to FDT’s poll numbers making a steady climb...
i agree but what a spread huh?
I think it’s time for all the candidates with less than 15% to step down, and yes I know, that includes my man Hunter.
Course it would be a “conspiracy” to the Paulbearers.
Was that a wet are dry dream????
Leave it to one of you right wingers to make everything either black or white.
It was MOIST, okay? :p
“Not saying it doesnt represent a snap shot of where things stand, but itsnt funny that when a poll supports conservatives positions or candidates, no matter the source, its suddenly valid, but if it doesnt then suddenly its flawed?”
Sadly, this is a law of politics. Not even just of political forums or of conservatives or liberals. If a poll gives an answer you don’t like, it is a rule to say “polls this early out are meaningless” or “leaders lead, not follow polls.”
When a poll reveals an answer the same reader wants to see, they are very quick to shout it from the mountaintops. It’s natural. Like the people who say “shut up and sing/act” until a singer/actor echoes their viewpoints.
It’s not just a conservative thing. It’s a human nature thing.
“IF THEY SAY THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF FRED, THEN THEY ARE NOT REPUBLICANS. THEY ARE RINOS, OR WORSE, DIMOCRATS. PURE, 100%, UNADULTRATED B.S.”
Not everyone watches Law & Order. Sometimes, participating in this forum with other informed people, we believe the average person knows the same things we do. Not everyone, however, is so politically astute.
“I think its time for all the candidates with less than 15% to step down, and yes I know, that includes my man Hunter.”
I would love to vote for Tancredo on election day. But, if that isn’t going to happen, I don’t want to waste a primary vote that could go to stopping Giuliani. I want to support someone who can stop him, but until Tom endorses one of the other candidates he still has my vote. I find myself conflicted about it, but this election cycle I’ve made a vow to stick true to my beliefs.
Sadly, however, I agree with you. The time has come for some candidates to start facing reality.
No, no, no.
SULTRY. :p
You were doing Back To The Future last night. Is it Throw Mama From The Train tonight? :)
I can’t help it. I love my movies.
I have probably the largest collection of useless movie knowledge in my head of anyone on the planet, so I understand... :)
In a one on one race with Rudy, Fred has picked up a net of 12 points since the mid August poll 3 weeks ago. Whereas Rudy led by 59-34 as of August 16, his lead is now only 53-40.
I put much more faith in Rasmussen than Gallup, particularly given this small sample, but it does indicate the trend is very definitely and sharply in Fred’s favor.
Fred always makes an ass out of me by making my predictions come true way quicker than I said he would. I’ve been saying it would take a month for him to get a firm lead on Rudy. We’ll see what happens...
Well, there was no way for you to predict that Romney would start to crumble as fast as he has. That 10% ought to be a dose of reality for the Mitt boosters. I welcome them to abandon his sinking ship and join Fred in saving the Republican Party and the conservative movement, not to mention the country, from Rudy.
